Nick Fuentes put on No-Fly List

Recommended Posts

Fuentes' politics are a few clicks to the right of mine, I never really tune into his content, he rubs me the wrong way, I know iam90sbaby and others are big fans. I'm not really intending to talk about his beliefs here.

The thing is that he's being barred to fly by some DOJ or Homeland Security official, likely for no good reason. He's committed no crime, he's never threatened anybody (to my knowledge). He's never conducted nor advocated for violence. He's no danger to fly or to other passengers. Apparently he'd had a mask issue, like fifteen flights and many months ago. This isn't the airlines blocking him, it's the government. It seems they're only targeting him because he sh*tposts online, and they don't like what he says. Doesn't this man have certain unalienable rights? Can the government just take away your flying privilege because the Attorney General doesn't like what you have to say?

I'm not going to defend what Fuentes says, I only agree with about 85% of it, plus he's kind of a jerk and while he himself is OK, he doesn't mind hanging out with more extreme people that I wouldn't want to associate with. But I will certainly defend his right to state his mind, hang out with who he wants, and defend his right to fly. Like I said, he presents zero danger to any other passenger. It seems clear that he's just being bullied for his beliefs (so far as I can tell). I'd be shocked if he has anything more than routine traffic violations and I'll be happy to eat crow on this if something surfaces where he proves to be an actual danger.

This is how always it starts. It's like that Holocaust poem.... First they came for Nick Fuentes and I didn't say anything because I think he's a jerk.

If they can block Nick Fuentes from flying for no reason, and without getting resistance, they're likely to just keep adding more and more people to that no-fly list.

Sounds like someone the ACLU would love to defend.

Obama LOVED sending the IRS after people.

It's only going to get worse.

But good news Orange man can't hurt peoples feelings with mean tweets anymore. That's what truly matters.

Of course. They need a way to pay for all the free money they’re giving out. IRS will be weaponized

Think of iam90sbaby, who has a pretty d@mn identical worldview. 90sbaby is a big fan. He's a younger guy on the further right, but not the truly wacko right. He does play footsie with the truly wacko right. He has a national platform and sometimes gets high end speaking gigs in right wing circles, sometimes no, because he's borderline acceptable. Guys like Ben Shapiro and Charlie Kirk want nothing to do with him. Michelle Malkin and Vincent James defend him. He's not a QAnon conspiracy kook. He stays within reality. It's just that there's an uncomfortable racial element to what he says and he doesn't mind appealing to people beyond the pale on the right that few want to deal with.

Never heard of this guy. Not a fan of the no-fly list. It was an overreaction to 9/11.

This person might have done something truly worthy of being on the list, or maybe not. We’ll probably never know. That’s the problem with the list.

Quite a history of people on the list who shouldn’t have been:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/No_Fly_List

Funny how this has been going on for 20 years and SOME people are only outraged when it hits a right-wing nut with a popular Twitter account instead of the many, many other people unjustly put on the list.

But hey, at least we’ve got something both sides are agreeing on now. The no-fly list is unconstitutional and each lawsuit brought against it has had at least some success in eroding its power.

There's that. You have to be willing to royally p*ss people off to say what he says and you don't get invited to certain events that you may otherwise get invited to.

During the RNC there was that Florida businessman who'd emigrated from Cuba talking about America and what it meant to him and how dangerous these socialist neo-Marxist ideas that are gaining traction in the US, how the same had happened in Cuba. And I was loving the speech and eating it up, and Fuentes comes along and makes some dumb remark, I don't even recall, but I was like "STFU" dumbass.

I can see you are still holding on to the idea of harmony. I'm not sure how much more you need to see, but for every one of those Cubans there are hundreds of bad hombres coming here.

Great optics Volty

Wifflball called me out by name on some BS involving Sydney Powell recanting, so l wrote up a long post showing why his MSM spoon fed talking point were bullsh1t lies he was parroting but he refused to talk about it.

This happens to me all the time, I am use to people ignoring my posts rather than engaging, but never after being called into a topic personally, so it pissed me off that he invited me to have a conversation then didn’t want participate.

Wouldn’t you know, a week later, he was back to pulling the same bullsh1t, repeating the same lies, like my posts didn’t exist, so I called him out on it a second time for being a punk ass b1tch but he swam away a second time.

Well, this isn’t the first time some punkass Colorado d0uchbag instigated crap with somebody from Detroit and turtled rather than fight. Back in the day, Kris Draper was in a vulnerable position along the boards and Claude Lemieux blindsided him from behind, face first into the partition, with a totally illegal hit that exploded Draper’s jaw and had him eating through a straw for a month.

Darren McCarty wasn’t having any of that, but rather than fight McCarty, Lemieux chose to puss the fock out and turtle instead, and so you get this image.

Today’s Dems love big tech, big bank, big pharma and big government. They like gov’t “lists” of citizens but open boarders. They endorse censorship.  They are addicted to race in everything.  They love control.  Yet for 4 years they were calling Trump a Totalitarian Fascist.  It’s simply incredible.

That's been working out very poorly.

1. First they tried to destroy Goldwater.  He lost in 1964.
2. They tried to destroy Nixon but he won in 2 landslides.  Then they finally got him.
3. They tried to destroy Reagan, but he won in 2 landslides and won the senate briefly in 1980.
4. Bush41 was a wuss and they ate him alive.
5. They tried to destroy Bush43 but he won and won the House and the senate was a 50-50 tie.
6. They tried to destroy Trump but he won and won both houses of congress.

Every time they try to stop momentum on the right, the next wave is stronger.  The democrat tactics are failing so spectacularly that blacks are turning republican.  This is why the left has to go totalitarian.  Either they outright silence right wingers across the board and toss them in jail, or they are gonna completely flip the nation red.

I don't know if Fuentes is racist personally because I don'tfrequently  listen to him. His detractors say that about him, but they say that about everyone and after you cry wolf the 10,000th time, the condemnation has no meaning.

Anyway,

1) he doesn't mind talking to the actual racists that everyone else avoids associating with. While I respect Robert E. Lee as a man with personal integrity and honor, and especially praise him for his post-war character to try to reunite the country, fighting for the Confederacy is a pretty focking massive sin to at tone for. I don't know that I would want to have a statue honoring him, but I think that's a situation for Virginia to figure out. When it come to taking down his statue, I think people can disagree in good faith. If you're a Lee fan at Charlottesville, and guys like Nick Fuentes want to "Unite the Right" and all these actual racists come out of the woodworks, you likely wouldn't want to unite with them.

2) he makes insensitive racial observations. I have no problem with crime stats or criticisms of black culture, but some stuff is borderline that can make your skin crawl, but isn't too different than what gets said in this forum.

3) Fuentes farts at the dinner table. He talks about race too focking much and brings it up when it's not needed or wanted. When I watched the Cuban man speaking about freedom and what it means to him, I found it all quite moving. Now I don't use Twitter, but later, I found out at the same time, Fuentes had been making livestream Twitter comments like "this won't win any hispanic votes" STFU, man. Go away. That was a great speech, sorry you couldn't appreciate that.

-------

There's  a distinction between American nationalism and White nationalism and I don't know enough about Fuentes that he gets it. I mean, the dude's name is "Fuentes" after all, so maybe he does. I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt. I'd have to tune in more to find out and I''m not inclined to. Even when I had more free time, I don't ever care enough. Personally, I don't want anything to do with the KKK or neo-Nazis. My thing is I'd rather see Thomas Jefferson, John Stewart Mill, and John Locke translated into Spanish, Chinese, and Arabic. I'd gladly put a ring on Candace Owens, Ayaan Hirsi Ali, or Michelle Malkin's finger but if Hlllary Clinton, Kirstin Gillibrand, and I were the last three people on the planet, that'd be the end of the human species. It isn't about race.

As for Fuentes, his worst attribute is he comes off as a bitter jerk with borderline (or maybe fully) racial prejudice. He's not a threat to anyone.

The ACLU gave up being champions of free speech decades ago.  Now they are pretty much full totalitarianism bastards like 90 percent of the Democratic base.  The Hitler wannabes on the left love to use mega corporations like the airlines, social media, banking and financial to do their bidding for them.  It is really disgusting and disturbing what the modern left has become.  No respect for individual freedom at all, pretty much want to rip the constitution to shreds and go back to an elitist ruling class.

Yeah, way worse than the guy who takes baths with his 8 year old daughter.

Too bad Fuentes only talked about wanting to do it.  Had he actually done it, he'd probably be able to run for president as a Democrat.

Are you serious?

This is a right wing douche bag saying he wants to marry a kid, and your defense is that he's only talking about it. And if he can actually find a 16 yo to marry like he wants to, then he would switch to being a Democrat?

You're a joke man.

Defense?  No moron, I'm not defending it.  I'm calling out DogClown as a hypocrite piece of crap who's selectively accepts one persons ACTS over another persons COMMENTS, because of the party he supports.  Dumbazz.

I'd have thought that with your self-righteousness, you'd have called him out on being a hypocrite and not me for calling him a hypocrite.  Showing your true colors here.  Not surprised.

I don’t understand why you think I’m a hypocrite, but whatever. If you want to defend a Nazi who likes marrying teenagers, go ahead and die on that hill.

I never defended him.  I simply pointed out that he only TALKED about being with a girl that is practically a woman (via puberty), and only 2 years away from adulthood.  I also noted that our President was taking baths/showers with his 8-year old daughter.  I didn't vote for either... you voted for one of them.  Looks like you're the one doing the defending, not me. :dunno:
