Mike FF Today 607 Posted April 30, 2021 50/50 split between Melvin Gordon and Javonte Williams?

I wouldn't expect it right away, if only because Gordon is well ahead of him in the passing game. But it is a major blow to his redraft and dynasty value. tanatastic 2,061 Posted May 2, 2021 Best pick in the whole draft was Bears taking Tevin Jenkins who absolutely should not have been available in rnd 2. One of the best blockers in the draft.

The few times I watched OK St, I wasn't focused on watching the line. Most scouting reports I read on Jenkins said he profiled more as a RT in the pro's and that he was an exceptional run blocker, but so-so in pass sets, and was in the range of OT 4-7, 1st-2nd round grade borderline. In the draft he was the 5th tackle selected 7th lineman overall. Seems like the Bears got him exactly where he was expected to go...

A lot of people had him ranked in rnd 1 and say he could end up being one of the best blockers from this draft in a couple years. Just a good value pick is all, if he had gone 10 spots sooner it wouldn’t have been a reach.

You called him the best pick in the whole draft so I am very curious how you reached such a definitive conclusion. According to the mock draft database big board, which just averages the most well known 63 big boards Jenkins was the 5th highest rated OL. Lots of guys who were drafted in rd 2 were rated by 'some' as 1st round graded players. That happens every single year. Could he end up as one of the best 'blockers', whatever that means in a few years, sure, but so could guys drafted in rounds 4 and 5....
