Why are Republicans afraid to investigate The Capital Insurrection?

I mean, there's still a couple of you morons here calling it a couple guys taking selfies. But there's actual dead officers. There's actual dead rioters. There's all kinds  of footage. I mean, these jackasses not only stormed our Nations capital, they literally shat on  one of our icons of democracy, but they actually created a working platform to HANG our vice president. Why the hell would anybody NOT want to pursue these jackasses and anybody who facilitated that?

And McConnell is doing his best song and dance to say nothing to see here folks. F****** guy should be run out of town.

Why do democrats insist on calling a riot an insurrection. Is it because if you call it a riot you can't justify going after the capitol rioters and not the social justice rioters? It is pretty clear they are the same thing. Would it have been a "insurrection" had the crowd been social justice warriors? We all know that answer is no. It would have been a "peaceful protest with small pockets of violence."

1st post nails it.  Of course without reading wiff will all be like but muh capitol is sacred!  Meanwhile longstanding statues of former icons that built this country get toppled without care or consequence.

1.  It was a protest that turned into a riot, they left shortly thereafter.

2.  It was dumb and unlawful and dangerous.

3.  They have rounded up hundreds of them and are prosecuting them.   I follow the FBI on Twitter and they are constantly giving updates and posting pictures to still find more.

It was taught for almost a year that if you have a problem with the government or police no matter how legit the gripe is....that you have the right to riot.  If the Biden riots dont happen nightly for months with those very few arrested being let go thr next day.....then January 6th doesnt happen.
