Mount Rushmore of Pizza toppings - Yours ?

Recommended Posts

Unpossible.

Too many toppings to narrow it down.

Any/every thing but anchovies.

Generally agree.  I do like it on Kabobs however.

Pepperoni. Bacon.  Onion.  Green pepper.

Hands down one of the Best pizzas ever created.

Mission Pizza in Fremont, California. They've been around for decades because they crank out delicious pies like the '55 Bacon Cheeseburger.

Sausage or pepperoni.

You're either gonna have to name two more or demolish half of Mt. Rushmore.  🤨

My go-to is pepperoni, double cheese, double sauce.  Altho some places will barely add any extra sauce or cheese so you gotta ask for triple.

I’ve had good pizzas with pineapple on it. Hell, one I had a few months ago had peaches on it and that was delicious. But I have to be in the mood for it. A good pie with just pepperoni on it is hard to beat. Got a place in Charleston that only does pizza or a calzone. That’s it. No wings, no cheese sticks, no Stromboli. Open til 3 am. Their pizzas are delicious and my buddy from up north said it’s the closest he’s had outside of New York to authentic NY pizza. Which makes me wonder just how damn good NY pizza is

I like traditional toppings, but In 1985 California pizza kitchen took off.  It was pretty fun. I think their first “wild” hit was bbq chicken. But they grew quickly... thai chicken, Peking duck, shrimp pesto, jerk chicken, mushu calzone, Greek, etc

white clam pizza is very good. Dessert pizzas.

Said nobody but you.

I'll stick by it. NY pizza tastes like shlt. Soggy, saggy, tasteless slices of wet. It's like dipping a piece of white bread in water that has a teaspoon of tomato paste mixed in it.

Sausage, pepperoni, mushrooms, black olives.

I'm sticking with standards here.  For instance I love a prosciutto and brie Flatbread a local place offers.  It is a white pizza, which i tend prefer over red sauce.

Also I'm with @Utilit99 that NY Pizza is overrated, I've said it here multiple times.  Hipsters like it because they are hipsters, and locals are used to it, but there is nothing special about it.  It's thin and greasy, but you can fold it!

Some places may be and certainly are overrated but NY pizza in general is better then anywhere else.

If you go to new york city for some crazy reason, and you really want pizza, I would suggest Dominos. Best they have in that city.

I am serious. I have eaten pizza there numerous times. It's not good. Maybe there is some place that defies the soggy greasy saggy pizza that is known as NYC pizza, and maybe it's good, but, it would not be NY style pizza.

I usually get Pepperoni, Linguica, and Black Olive. If I can I will get it on thick crust and with extra sauce!
