Should have been dead months ago. And I guess I should act like every day thereafter is a gift. But it feels a shitload more like my parole was approved but the warden's sitting on the paperwork.

I haven’t had a drink in 4 weeks; stopped when my latest treatments started.  Expect it to go on a few more months presuming the treatments continue.  Honestly not sure if I’ll go back to drinking at all.  I’ve had on and off demons with alcohol, and believe me I know it is very hard to stop, but life really is better without it.
