Watchmen series on HBO

The wife and I have finished up our current shows and are deciding what to watch next. 

I know it's a couple years old and was well received by the critics (for what that's worth..).  I read the graphic novels and saw the so-so movie when it came out so I know what to expect. 

Has anyone here watched it?  Is it worth the time investment?

Yeah it’s pretty interesting. You won’t see much else like it out there.

It does suggest the KKK and actual white supremacists are bad, so some people evidently can’t handle it. But they’re kunts

The graphic novel was great. I agree that the movie was so so.

Whats the series based on? I thought there was just the one comic series.

Had you read the original source?  I glanced at the cast listing on IMDB but I didn't recognize very many of the characters.

Great clip. Steve Buschemi has not aged well. But it’s not Germaine to my statement about actual white supremacists. There was a time when actual white supremacists got the blame for being white supremacists. But now if you’re not a self loathing cuck (look in mirror) who goes along with the belief  all white people are W S’s then you are branded as such. Didn’t you hear?

The show was decent. It wasn't as amazing as people had proclaimed. I really need to finish Raised by Wolves.

I just looked up Raised By Wolves.  Ridley Scott and the dude from Vikings?  Sounds interesting.  I'll give it a shot.

Edit: just watched first episode.  Didn't expect the female android to get naked so quickly.  Nice t1ts!

Excellent show. Occurs in the same universe as the graphic novel, ignores the movie. Happens roughly 30 years after those events. Really well done. Fantastic cast. Regina King is a ridiculously good actress.

Thanks for the summary/explanation as how the series ties in with the source material.

Regarding Regina King: I jut recently watched The Leftovers and she was excellent in S2.

Another show from the same creator.  That one was really good too, but the way it wrapped up kept it from being one of my favorites. 

But I'm now to the point that I'd probably watch Regina King doing laundry and enjoy it. She's fantastic in everything she does, just like Katherine O'Hara.
