Why are officers who responded to Jan 6 insurrection committing suicide?

I haven't read anything in this thread, but it is kind of upsetting that people get to a point that they think suicide is the only answer...

The FBI was in on this from the beginning. From planning stages to execution. This happens all the time and has been going on since it’s inception. There is no reason to believe local police were involved too. The same thing is true of the “foiled” Witmer kidnapping in Michigan.

Doesn't seem like his supporters heard him or they didn't care that he said it.  They were already worked up from everything else he said.

Regardless, it wasn't Trump's fault these psychos stormed the capitol.  I think he contributed to getting them riled up but people are responsible for their own actions.

Regardless, he made a point of using the word "peacefully." For hacks to then claim that he was instigating an insurrection is beyond retarded. 

Firing up a crowd is a far cry from instigating an insurrection.

Pretty sure the line of demarcation for a riot versus Insurrection is literally actually and physically building a Gallows to hang the vice president of the United States and sitting senators.

You do know that Trump refused to provide any backup for these officers,  right?  Members of his own cabinet were begging for it and he sat on his fat ass loving every minute of the chaos.

Security for the House is the responsibility of the House Sergeant at Arms, who reports to Nancy Pelosi. She could have requested reinforcements at any time.

Capitol security is provided by the sergeants-at-arms , who are the chief law enforcement officers for the House and Senate, in coordination with the Capitol Police, a federal law enforcement agency.

The House sergeant-at-arms reports to the speaker of the House, or Pelosi at the time of the attack.
