By resigning, he admits guilt. It's that simple. Now go for the kill shot. Charge him with the deaths of 1000s of seniors dead via covid in nursing homes.

There's a lot of ways a ruined lawyer can still make money.  Convicted / disbarred felon lawyers are out there earning a living:

1. Teaching at a university.
2. Writing legal briefs for licensed attorneys.
3. Legal consultant, even owning your own legal consulting firm.
4. Political consultant.
5. Columnist.
6. Law clerk.

It kinda depends on who likes you.

I did not think this would be possible.  It is refreshing to see this happen.

The dude flat out murdered 1000s of old people and is about to get kicked out to a 7 figure private sector job while the taxpayers pay off for his lechery.  New Yorkers sure can pick em.

The whataboutism is rampant.

What about Trump? What about Kavanaugh? What about Gaetz? They should all be held accountable.

But no one mentions Biden and how he should be accountable.

Glad this guy resigned.

Oh I'm gonna check the liberal boards for the thread on this for the whataboutism.  Although a actually doubt some will even have a thread.

Just checked one board.  There is a thread but its a ghost town.  Typcial.  They won't comment on one of their own getting taken down at all.

Just checked a second liberal politics board.  No thread on Cuomo whatsoever.

Checked a third liberal board.  2 posts, one stating he resigned.  The next one is complaining that the resignation is overshadowing the passing of the bipartisan infrastructure bill.

I think they went after Trump.  As I recall Trump was roundly vilified by the media and talking heads at every turn. I do not see a commensurate action toward Cuomo. I also think that Trump is a dooshbag, but a SOLID leader.  Cuomo is also a dooshbag, but was also a very poor leader.

Kavanaugh might have been a doosh, but it was rather clear that multiple accusers lied and recanted. And I so not at all believe the woman who kept the theater going. I doubt he ever did anything they accused.

But after Kavanaugh I noted that multiple politicians were then accused, but no action resulted....and they were all Democrat.  That got me thinking.

Then you have this instance.  It took an awful long time to sort this out and the media was mostly silent....must be nice....

I am glad he resigned, I think he likely is a dirt bag and did what he is accused of. But given the trend for Democrats to NOT be held similarly accountable, I remain surprised.

So now the Lt Gov assumes the role of Governor.  Does she hold it until Cuomo's term is up or is somebody else assigned to the position?

Let's start with a short list

  • Virginia Lt. Gov. Justin Fairfax, who by they way compared himself to Emmitt Till when he was accused....stayed in power, and on whom they had far more credible accusations than say Kavanaugh, and who stayed in power and the media was mostly silent other than to mention it as if it were unfair
  • Gov. Ralph Northam got away with black face, curious how he managed to do that.
  • Rep. Bobby Scott, D-Virginia, accused, mostly ignored by the press and politicians
  • Nevada state Senator Ruben Kihuen also accused of sexual harrassment, nothing came of it, maybe because he agreed to not run for reelection...

From what they were saying on FOX at noon, now watch what a sewer NY becomes as they migrate towards an AOCtard type Gov.

This is what I have been saying.  Biden and this era of Dems suck azz.  But in all likelihood better than progressives who are waiting for their turn.

People think the Left is looney now, just wait a few more years and see what that party looks like.

The liberal voters in this state are so flipping stupid, that is how these morons are still in power...

If I am reading MDCs joke correctly, what he is saying is that Cuomo wouldn't subject them to harrassment.

fair enough, but these do seem like low level accusations.  Maybe for Northam it was cause it was from 1984.  Kavanagh got tough, maybe even bs allegations, but he is SCJ for the rest of his life, that seems pretty unscathed.

The fact that he was so dug-in and entrenched last weekend and suddenly turns this fast? Guaranteed someone paid him off.  Some rich Democrat guaranteed him a job in the private sector.
