listen2me 23 Posted April 3 Posted April 3 All 4 outrights had solid day 1. All within 2 or 3 strokes. Then Bob just bum rushes and makes them all irrelevant. -14. Thanks Bob. They played ball in hand yesterday. So I get it to an extent. It has to be softer than usual at that course. But 9 under used to win this thing. Im getting sick of every tournament getting bastardized. They overseed everything with rye to make it look nicer on TV these days. Which in turn makes it easier and ruins it. We have golf club and ball tech that makes the game way easier. Wtf are we doing out there makingthr actual courses easier? Quote

I want US Open carnage every single week. Quote

There is plenty of room on the schedule for easy scoring. But its becoming every single stop. Former tough tournaments like the Honda. Most people I know would rather see tougher courses or setups. But maybe the average person does not. It doesnt add up to me, most casuals get a kick oit of some crazy lie or condition ik thr british open. Or a ball almost.unfairly rolling off the green. To me seems like casuals get a total kick out of carnage. Yet also want tons of birdies. Just all around action. Id say the Players gives you a lot of that 2 way action. I prefer old golf courses that are setup tough. Preferably fair but pushing that edge. Quote
cyclone24 Posted Saturday at 07:38 PM Author Posted Saturday at 07:38 PM Had a fun little parlay of the hornets, Knicks, and celtics to hit 100 points by 3 quarters last night…. so I have a little fun money…. We’re gonna just go Michigan +5 1/2 in Illinois Moneyline… maybe a little double up Quote

BiffTannen Posted Monday at 11:39 PM Posted Monday at 11:39 PM I’m going against the grain since the number is down to 6.5 Michigan -6.5. Quote
BiffTannen Posted Wednesday at 12:18 AM Posted Wednesday at 12:18 AM I will have some matchups tomorrow. The only outright I’m going to play is Jordan Spieth +4200. He is striping irons right now. If the putter gets hot and he can keep the driver from leaving the state of Georgia we have a chance. Quote
listen2me 23 Posted Wednesday at 10:08 AM Posted Wednesday at 10:08 AM The Masters outright market took a tumble on me before I laid down bets. Wanted Min Woo 54 to 1 Sunday night, by Monday early AM he went to 35-1. Dont love the Masters for outrights, the top guys probably win but I dont care to bet under 20-1 too often. Not a ton on the bone. Adam Scott was 100-1 a month ago, 60-1 now is not that appetizing. I dont see any longer shots that have a realistic chance. Conners has good finishes here but can he really chip and putt enough to win it? Xander (ready to cuss him out all week) 18-1 Bhats 56-1 (missed a 60 some dragging my feet) Top finish plays and matchups may end up being a vast majority of my action. Quote
