the shiva 0 Posted September 8, 2021 I was offered Bryon Pringle, KC WR for Tevin Coleman, NYJ RB. On face value I want to say "no way" but long term with Coleman playing for the Jets and his current history of getting injured. I know KC has lots of wr's but Pringle has look good lately. So keepy Coleman or take a risk on Pringle?
AxeElf 787 Posted September 8, 2021 Seriously? You're torn up over which guy you want to stick on the end of your bench? You know, the guy you're gonna drop for a bye week kicker anyway? Coleman is rostered in 27% of Yahoo leagues; Pringle in 1%. Whichever one you DON'T choose will still be there for you on the waiver wire if you change your mind.
weepaws 2,223 Posted September 8, 2021 I would get Pringle. Thank you for the question. Good luck on your decision
show me the murray 49 Posted September 10, 2021 I'd keep Coleman. Scarcity of RBs has me valuing depth at RB over grabbing a WR who will likely be 4/5th on his team in targets. He might have one or two big weeks, but good luck predicting when Mahomes decides to target him for a huge day. Coleman has experience and familiarity with the coaching staff and he's currently, nominally, the starter. If the Jets offense improves with Zach Wilson and the rookie Carter takes a while to get going, Coleman could be a flex starter. If not, you can easily pick up a WR similar to Pringle in a week or two - or, as mentioned above, Pringle himself, given that owner will have probably tossed him back on the waiver wire by then anyway.
