sometimes the fantasy gods give you a s__t sandwich.

but if you can keep putting up the points you will eventually start winning games.(usually)

there was a guy in one of my leagues a number of years back who finished dead last but was the highest scoring team in the league.   nearly all the games he lost the margin of victory was less than 5 points.

his wins, few as they were.... were mostly all blowout wins.

I dont think I've seen that kind of bad luck ever before or since but the odds are very good if your team performs, the wins will eventually come too.

Two years ago, I started out 1-5 and was the highest scoring team in the league.  I won my last 7 games and made the playoffs.  I won my first playoff game, then lost the second, and won the 3rd place game.  A bad luck start doesn't have to be the end of the season.  If you truly have a solid roster and stick with it, you'll be fine in the end.

No be that has played ff long enough hasn’t had one of those seasons.  But I’ve also been on the other end of them also, I’ve had teams that where bottom of total points but play others ff at the right time and win.  

Thats why many years ago we went to doing both , H2H and then the full regular nfl season total points, seems to keep more owners interested longer into the season , plus two ways to win money.

I lost Week 3 105.54 to 105.48. 

And sometimes the luck evens out but not always. About 5 years ago I led the league in points but missed the playoffs (6 out of 12 got in), played the hi scorer of the week way more than I should have. The fantasy gods were pissed at me that year for some reason.
