Colts defense not putting up much of a fight on that first drive.  Elijah Mitchell looks like Earl Campbell out there.

What did Wentz just do?

Dear God. Did he bet on SF?

He was trying to imitate Justin Fields…

Oh that's right. The giants won their 20th game in the last 5 years today. Time to stand on top of the world and play the fool.

SF better get some traction here with their ground game.  Garoppolo is pretty bad in good conditions.  If the defense knows he needs to pass, it'll get ugly quick.

End of the 3rd quarter colts run a screen that goes nowhere on 2nd and about 20.

Now does Wentz not have the ability to check out of plays or is he just terrible at it?  49ers weren't even trying to disguise the fact that they were playing a soft zone.  Why would you run a screen into a soft zone?  The entire defense is just going to rally to the ball.

agreed.  you may get 3 yards on that play all day long, but its unlikely to ever be a big play in that scenario.

Al Shaair not only prevents his teammate from stopping the receiver short on 3rd down.  He hurts him in the process.
