Fearsome

Tannehill, AJ Brown and Julio without Henry

Recommended Posts

What are everyone's thoughts about the production we can expect from Tannehill, AJ Brown and Julio Jones (one he comes back from injury) without Henry drawing maximum attention?

I think that their numbers should actually go down. Tannehill is a game manager and now he won't have 8 stacking the box leaving wide open lanes for him to get the ball to Brown and Jones. Sucks for AJ, he was rounding into form and now he'll be doubled most of the time.

Based on volume, Tannehill should go up, and he should run more. Bad news for AJ.

That play action won't scare anyone with Adrian Peterson or whatever other below replacement level they bring in.  Good luck with that passing game.

1. I wouldn’t count on J Jones much.

2. Tannehill is going to pass more.

But might be less productive.

AJ was doubled all last year and still had a monster season. Expect AJ targets to go up with a slight decrease in efficiency. TDs  will likely go up without Henry taking most of them.

Their entire offense is based on Henry.  You think they can just switch up now and it doesn't hurt AJ?  Defenses completely change what they do now.

Maybe, but now the offense will be based on him. Targets will go up. Teams can try and stop him, but again they also tried last year with constant double teams…
