Marquise Brown Out

Recommended Posts

Marquise Brown (thigh) will not play in Week 11 against the Bears.

Brown's only practice of the week was a limited session on Friday. His absence will boost the roles of Rashod Bateman and Sammy Watkins. Both will start for the Ravens with Bateman likely seeing the biggest uptick in targets. With the No. 1 receiver role up for grabs in Baltimore, Bateman now projects for WR2 fantasy numbers while Watkins is a viable FLEX play in deeper leagues. Missing his primary receiver and deep threat, Lamar Jackson, who is questionable with an illness, gets a slight downgrade versus Chicago. He remains in the top half of the QB1 cohort.

First Alvin Kamara is out ad now this?

My opponent had both in his starting line up!

The fantasy football gods are smiling upon me!

I hope they're not setting me up for disappointment...

Yeah, this is the week where all your starters get between 1 and 5 points and you lose 63 - 58.

Typically, yes, that's what I would be worried about.

I'm off to a good start though, my TE, D/ST, and Kicker got me 68 pts Thursday.

I'm hoping for a couple of decent games from the rest to ride the wave...

I have Kamara.  And Marquise, and A. Brown.

hope my Fantasy D is on it’s game today!

I hope so!

Too bad you didn't pick up the Patriots For Thursday's game!

I think you need to upgrade the chicago Defense now.

They are fully capable of playing the same style of defense Miami did.  and possibly do a better job of it.

without the #1 WR, I dont see Baltimore having a good week on offense.

I’m a Bears fan, so I’m pretty familiar with their Defense… Lately their DB’s can make any quarterback look good, And Mack is out. With that said I would still go get them if I didn’t have the Titans defense.

Everyone is acting like Baltimore is going to get rolled without Lamar's but Tyler Huntley is pretty good.

Rolled wasnt the term I'd use.

at the time I posted, Lamar was questionable to play.    but that said, Huntley isnt Lamar.  if he was that good he would be a starter somewhere.

either way, any offense with the #1 WR is not gonna run at peak efficiency.   and as it turned out, chicago D was really good up until the last 2 minutes of the game.

further to this, the D was ok. 8 fantasy points in my scoring system.   reasonably solid.  but not spectacular.

I dropped Indy's defense as they were playing buffalo and took Chicago.  seemed like a good move at the time.
