Adrian Peterson waived

Recommended Posts

You know it's over when you're waived for Dontrell Hilliard!

Remember when people said how good AD looked on that 1 yard TD?

🤣

I guess there's a good chance that's it for his career...

I think so, didn’t T Davis make it in with less stats.

Yeah, feels like Peterson is just a good season or so short. But really damn close.

7 time Pro Bowler, 4 time 1st team All Pro, number 5 all time in rushing yards, 4th in rushing TDs, 11th in total TDs, 11th in yards from scrimmage, came 8 yards short of breaking the single season rushing yards record and an MVP award, all in an era where the RB position has been severely devalued in the NFL. No question whatsoever.

Damn. Perhaps he is HOF worthy.

Wonder if that kid beating story keeps him out.  :dunno:

I think he's the best RB since 2000

Tomlinson is close 2nd

Regardless of HOF, Adrian Peterson was probably the most exciting RB the league in a decade. I can't think of any other RB that came close to that during that period.

The last "exciting RBs" I would say are Tomlinson and Faulk. Priest Holmes was insane for a couple years, but didn't have the greatness longevity of those guys.

He was the best running back in High School, College, and the NFL during his time playing in his prime.

Hilliard might come up with another high target low per touch avg vs the Patriots

I think its the other way around.

LT was a better pass catcher and thats what puts him over the top for me.

that said, in their prime you would be happy to have either on your fantasy team.  Thats for sure.
