Looking Ahead to Redrafts 2022: First Four Rounds

You manage to dummy down a best ball system even more, best ball is simply the easiest way to play ff , that’s why those that don’t play ff play best ball, and now you’ve made it even worthless.  And don’t ever call a best ball scoring system a league, it’s not a league.

Nice.

Best ball uses the best score at a given position on your roster. That’s why they call it best ball. That’s what we do. You’re just too simple to try it. Thanks.

I think it’s important to note that for every player people say is too high, you have to have an equal number of players who are too low. Folks tend to just declare an abundance of players as overvalued but don’t balance it out with undervalued players.

K Hebert is going to give D Montgomery a big push as the Bears rb1 for next season.

Are people really gonna draft Christian McCaffrey in the 1st round next season? 😆

He’s one of those players I’m really interested in seeing what his early adp is.

He should be well-rested, after a couple of years off...

My one keeper will be Javonte Williams. So no.  But I did have Michel, and watching him side by side with Henderson, who I also had, Michel looked much better.

Let's move Michel to very late in the 4th. Ok?

After last night I wouldn’t even say that now. Akers looked great.

This is something I like to post on site in early January and then update it every few weeks for a couple of months. The first edition assumes minimal team changes for the following players (which isn't realistic) and does not include potential rookies. This is just a glimpse of what a redraft (non-PPR) might look like for 2022 based upon what is known today. It is meant to generate some discussion, so feel free to disagree and/or offer up alternative choices. QBs are also valued a little higher by me based on some of the scoring systems I play being QB-friendly.

Round One:

1. Jonathan Taylor
2. Derrick Henry
3. Nick Chubb
4. Dalvin Cook
5. Davante Adams
6. Joe Mixon
7. Ja'Marr Chase
8. Austin Ekeler
9. Christian McCaffrey
10. Cooper Kupp

14. Tyreek Hill
15. Aaron Jones
16. Ezekiel Elliott
17. Antonio Gibson
18. Deebo Samuel
19. Josh Allen
20. Javonte Williams
21. D'Andre Swift

29. James Conner
30. DeAndre Hopkins
31. Josh Jacobs

Cam Akers was drafted to be the guy.  if he returns to 100% of his prior ability he definitely would be in the running to earn the starting spot.

coming back from an Achilles injury-A particularly bad injury for RB's.

I'm not sure he will ever be the same as he was.  and if he does fully recover, I'd guess hes at least a half season away from being back to his old self.

hence the speculation.

if Akers does not get this injury we have nothing to discuss because at 100% hes better than anyone in the RB room.    what we dont know is how the injury has affected him.

Don’t know how healthy Akers will be this next season.

But when he came back last season, he played in five games, four of them were in the post season.

He had 72 rush att , he avg 2.2 yards per rush.  Henderson might be a very good later round pick.

I would drop Kamara.   hes likely facing a suspension of sorts.

to me that drops him out of round 1 of drafts in any format.

my best guess is he drops into the 3rd.   usually at that point people are willing to roll the dice regardless of his off field issues.

to be fair, someone was discussing that, perhaps, Sony Michel (as a ram) should be included in the projected first 4 rounds of next year's fantasy draft, and my comments were rebutting that notion.  yes, Cam may never fully recover, but he is a major reason why Sony Michel is not someone the Rams fought to keep (and then start)

D Montgomery in the third round might not be a good move, I read that he has been being used both as the lead rb and playing on ST this preseason.   I Herbert who has a great adp I think might be making that more of a RBBC.

I find it interesting that the bears would even risk Montgomery if he is indeed their true rb1.  I don’t think that will be the case.

No, I saw it on two different sites. I just find it interesting that a teams listed rb1 is playing on ST , and a quote from Montgomery about doing so, what ever I can do to help the team.
