I will be taking a look at matchups here soon and post. I'm betting the farm this week based on one stat - strokes gained off the tee. I will be blind betting Matt Fitzpatrick and Corey Conners blind vs any matchup they have. I will also be fading Tyrrell Hatton vs any matchup he has.

Everyone is fading Cam Smith because of driving accuracy.    Watch him win the thing.  Going to be like 6% owned on DFS.

It is the Players so it isn't quite US Open rough but Southern Hills played difficult.  Cam lost 5.2 strokes OTT and won the thing.  Of course his putter can go unconscious and ththaththat makesall the difference.

Oh yeah, there is risk involved and if this approach fails, I will eat sh1t. Cam is not a guy I would ever fade, for the reasons you mention above. If he plays against one of the guys I'm blind betting, I will roll the dice with minimal skin in the game.

I know tee to green especially approach is the stat that everyone goes by since it SEEMS less hot or cold.  But I don't trust guys who suck at putting to survive at tough tracks.  The amount of up and downs you need to save par this week is a lot.  The guy who wins usually is rolling in those 6 to 10 footers all week long.

An excellent reason to fade Hovland this week. Add him in with Hatton.

I am a big fan of the HOV.   But yeah not high on him here.  He can but will need a ton of birdies to contend.  He is prone to a big number once a round.  His close putting is actually really good but hr cant chip it to 7 feet.

All depends how it plays.   US Open most times can bank on a tough scoring tourney.    But people have been wrong before.   There was a tourney this year that people said would play tough that didn't at all.  API? I dont remember.

I am looking forward to this week and have fot a while.  I remember in maybe 2020 looking at thr future sites of the pga us and british and seeing this venue and being pretty excited about going to a different spot yet one with a bunch of history.  As it reads I will like this style course as well.

I had 24 lineups (including the 4 free ones). If the cut is +4 virtually all of them except the ones with Louie  are 6-6 making the cut. Instead. I get zero.

Im, Cam, Lowry, Pereria, Webb splattered across the lineups. Can't even outplay nobodies like bramlett, naegel, gotterup and stevens.

We got screwed by winds being high late Thurs/Early Friday. The other side of the draw had it much easier.

Damn Will is snake-bitten, getting beat by one guy in all these majors. He’ll knock one off eventually but his odds will blow from here on out though.

the Fitzpatrick stack let me cash in all 4 of my DFS lineups despite having 3 missed cuts on every card.  turned $1 ($1 and three free entries) into a whopping $3.05!

I wouldn't be surprised if he goes LIV, but the explanation from McGirt makes sense. If you're not going to make the cut, there is no point in walking back and rehitting the shot.

Nice you were able to get the hedge. That was a brutal 72nd hole.
