AAPL always hits earnings.  Then everyone calls it a miss, the stock drops after hours and then they get valued properly.

The only time they go up on earnings is when they announce huge buybacks.

i didnt hold onto that position, obviously.  but then again, you didnt ask.

Are you still bearish long term?  And what does that mean to you?  Shorting the S&P?  Put option leaps?

I look forward to you never answering this question.

Many stocks did crash. Check out a five-year chart for stocks like Generac, Paypal, Wayfair, Roku, etc. By the time interest rates bottomed out in 2021, those & countless others were selling @ absolutely insane multiples. Any poor souls who bought those, will be waiting a long, long time to get back to even.

The S&P is up like 25% since this thread started 😂

The stock market is basically a sports book but this guy whiffed hard…like he bought a Jets winning the Super Bowl ticket.

It happens. Let’s keep the train rolling!!

I started this thread 23 months ago and nailed it as the stock market did crash right after I started this thread. So you're disingenuous.

Example of the bubbles that can build up when interest rates are kept artificially low for an extended period. The first chart is an ETF managed by Cathie Wood, who specifically invested in momentum companies like these. She was the newest darling of Wall Street, right up until interest rates started the move back to more historically normal levels. I hope Jerome Powell keeps his foot firmly planted on the neck of inflation until it's dead. Keep rates at current levels at least 2 more years.

I expect a stock market crash soon, a slight rebound and then an even bigger crash.  Two years ago I already moved all my mutual funds to bonds just before the crash when Covid started and oil went up, maybe a day late on that actually.  So I had mostly bonds already but all mutual funds I was investing in for the last two years I set up late last night and moved all to bonds and all future investments to bonds.

Then I just found this article when I googled "stock market bubble"

Yes, unless you need it.  You can't time the market.

Yep.  Trying to time it, usually backfires.

What the fugg is happening to the markets today? Is the crash starting early?

It goes up, it goes down, it eventually always goes up again. Put the bulk of your money in every two weeks. If you like to speculate shave off a bit for a separate account.

My free advice! It’s worth what you paid 😂

Another record set a little more trimming today 🚀🚀

When will there be a pulllback so I can deploy some of the reserves?

And to think this has all happened with Socialists trying to destroy our economy and way of life at the helm for like 75% of the time! These guys are doing it wrong!

S&P 5000-6000 first, then it really crashes. This is nothing compared to what is coming.

Update. Now 6000-7000 potential top.

So feeling bullish! Love it. Good luck.

I talked to my cousin during Christmas eve get together. He's a financial advisor. He alleviated my concerns over the Wars and Biden as it pertains to the stock market.

Time in versus timing is my main playbook and don’t look too much when it’s going down 😄

I do like to have a portion where I get my gambling fix in where I am pretty active. Some years amazing, some years a trainwreck.

Good lord. NVDA is a runaway train (along with a number of other companies cashing in on “AI”). This is just a ridiculous run and definitely in bubble territory.

Everyone’s accounts should def be at all-time highs within past few week range.

The Big Tech studs start reporting earnings this week. Here’s a chance for all the haters and shorters to hope things don’t go well.

These things are always a crap shoot and even good reports sometimes trigger a sell off. With many of these at all time highs we’ll see how this goes. 🍿
