wiffleball 4,631 Posted January 14, 2022 Prolly one of my top faves in this category is Duck (or Chicken) and Andouille Sausage Gumbo. Frick, that stuff is God's Food. Also, given the Irish in me, I pretty much adore potato soup with leeks/green onions. I'm pretty sure that's what comes out of Nursing Irish Mother's Nipples. Herbivore 904 Posted January 14, 2022 I make white chicken chili pretty consistently. Lentil soup is a good winter option, can go a lot of ways, spicy or mild, sweet with more squash, veggie or with sausage. Planning to make clam chowder this weekend. JustinCharge 2,397 Posted January 14, 2022 store-bought and restaurant soups are terrible because they are loaded with salt. same with broths. make it yourself with nothing but real ingredients and no salt.
