To me the problem is the reaction to and defending of her. Never mind her incredible “I’m not a biologist” reply, which should have seen her escorted out the door, but shouldn’t certain things, like consistently going soft on pedophiles, just be met with a hard no? No explanation, no rationalization. Just no, next candidate? It’s often said the appearance of impropriety is often just as bad as the impropriety itself.
