Twitter adopts 'poison pill' to prevent Elon Musk takeover

Recommended Posts

This is certainly an interesting development, but what happened to “if this isn’t a violation of the first amendment, I don’t know what is”?  Elon just now realized that there wasn’t anything damning against the government in the Twitter files part 1?

It’s a conspiracy, and not in theory. You should smack yourself with a shovel if you can’t see it. The FBI and other GA’s strong armed Twitter and Facebook to suppress the laptop story, in violation of the first amendment.

April? Your shiot  is all focked up. You just now signed on to Twitter didn’t you?  Since last April?  Yes all this happened months ago. JFC.

Go back and look at my screen shot.

LOL.  I'm sure the angle now will be the FBI lawyer had no ties to the FBI.

April was before Elon owned twitter dumbass.  But he clearly seemed to think his soon-to-be General Counsel was “pretty bad,” and despite firing almost everyone else within days of taking over, didn’t do the same with him.  Seems odd.

You remember every tweet, every post you’ve ever made?  Serious question:  Asperger’s or Autism?

Nothing changes from that part of the story though.  We already know they were meeting with the FBI, so his connection doesn’t really matter.  The only news here is if he blocked things from being shared with Taibbi/Weiss, but that doesn’t seem to be what’s being alleged so far, just that he was reading them.

I think if I was in the process of buying a company I’d remember reading about my general counsel being accused of fraud, yes.

Tweets can be searched and shared with others.  Kind of like how you shared your tweet here.  Get it?

I'm not even trying to be funny or condescending.  I've read your posts for almost a year now, and you constantly go down rabbit holes....."link!".  You can point out every oak, pine or dogwood tree but cannot remember what forest you are in.  A five foot watcher but blanks out at 30,000 feet above for the big picture.  It's not good or bad, just an observation.   Red Herring Specialist.

Your turn @Horseman

Whilst one of my favorite new posters here at the Geek Club, the cockiness is a little much.  The most successful man I know (on his own accord) drives a simple work truck.  My buddy who has the most attractive wife, rarely if ever mentions it.  If you got it, you don't have to say it....

He fired half the company within days of taking over.  He was publicly skeptical of how they had censored users.  Don’t you think the General Counsel would have been high on the list of people he would’ve wanted to fire?

I've never waisted money on a brand new expensive vehicle to drive around. That's just not a smart investment.

Alright, so let's get to part 2.  Surely there has to be more than just requests to remove the president's d1ck pics from the platform, right?

Come one Elon, we're all waiting...

Shows signs of insecurity.  I believe there are quite a few posters here who suffer from it.

So all the juicy info that isn't released now in these  reveals is because Baker deleted it before it was made public, just want to make sure I'm on the right page.

Yeah except what they released was hard evidence of a first amendment violation anyway!

Yet another GC contradiction

It is sort of amusing if you consider that we now have more evidence of Twitter interfering in our elections that Russia.

No not really.  Just find it odd that he wasn’t one of the guys that got fired in the first round.  Maybe he just had to use him to make sure he was firing everyone else legally.

But basically, I would think the fact that he kept him around initially would imply that he wasn’t that bad, and thus is less likely to have deleted emails or whatever the claim is.

Did Elon realize that this guy would be vetting the emails that went out?  If not, that might answer your question.
