Amazingly the kid is doing well.  He left ICU Sunday night.  He is able to speak and seems to have all his mental faculties.

He has gone home.  Appears to have all his mental and physical facilities.  His memory and speech are good.  The doctors have order therapy for a couple of months just to make sure.
