Based on what you've said, you really don't know what you're talking about, and I've given you an avenue to educate yourself, which you won't take because that's so far out of your toxic comfort zone that it's unimaginable for you.

I got a call from sux last night, which was fun. I didn't know I already had his number in my directory. We talked about cats, and I sent him some cat porn.

I'm fairly confident I know more than you, and no I have no interest in listening to the sales pitch your corporate overlords trained you to say, like a focking theft monkey.

Also if whole life was so awesome for people, then you guys wouldn't get paid to sell it to people.  Same with extended warranties, home warranties, auto warranties.  All of these things make money, or they wouldn't exist.

Simple question - Would you prefer your inheritance be subject to tax and probate or tax and probate free?

Sure, there are times where it makes sense, but it's very rare.  99% of the time you're better off getting a cheap term policy and investing yourself.

What really burns my ass is when I hear stories of sleezy sales focks taking someone's 401k and converting it into an annuity under the guise of "guaranteed income", while stealing a large percentage of the working guy's savings.  These pieces of sh!t have a special place in hell.

What are those people investing the difference into?

as for #2 - What do you even mean by that?

Ooo, a link. Lol. If you had the balls to do it, I'll have my staff reach out to you to set up a phone appointment to discuss the pros and cons of various annuities.

“My staff”.  Lol.

Isn't the federal estate tax zero for under $10M or something?

Index ETFs, or a asset allocation model?

Rolling a 401k into an annuity.

No, you don't know sh!t, but I'm fine with you finding comfort and safety in your ignorance zone.

I live in one of these states too.  Six states have a state-level tax: Iowa, Kentucky, Maryland, Nebraska, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania.

State Inheritance tax rate
Iowa 4% to 12%
Kentucky 4% to 16%
Maryland 10%
Nebraska 1% to 18%
New Jersey 11% to 16%
Pennsylvania 4.5% to 15%

Higher

Right, so the tax advantages of insurance don't apply to most people, since their net worth is less than $10M, right?

Dude admits he sells scam policies to people who don’t need them. Oh yeah but maybe you might have to pay some small percentage in a handful of states

Frankly that type makes me sick. Preying on the elderly and uninformed, stealing their money from them. Nothing different between that sh1t stain and a con man

Depends, obviously. Different attorneys have different rates, might depend on the type of work, then you’ve got your contingency.

When I fake sue you guys it’s typically on contingency, being as how you already robbed the poor old lady blind. I’d much prefer you never scammed anyone in the first place and I got bupkus

The Law Firm I worked at (I left 2018)   The Paralegals were 200 to 300 an hour. The most senior guy was $900

He zeroes in on one kind of annuity and craps on all annuities because a slimeball agent sold one to someone who should have been put into something else. But income and deferred-income annuities are great and appropriate in the right situations. So he thinks he's now an expert.

And he knows about as much about whole life as he does annuities, which isn't a lot.
