Would you ever be in a fantasy football league where...

Recommended Posts

The league loser had to get a tattoo chosen and agreed upon by the other league members?

Before a million questions:

Tattoo would not be seen fully clothed or while wearing shorts or a t-shirt.

Tattoo could be no larger than 5x7

Placement would be agreed upon by other league members.  It could literally be anything.

And, obviously, this would need to be a money league.  12 man.

No entry fee.

Winner walks away with 25K.

Loser gets a tattoo.

Would you take your chances?

Getting a tramp stamp that says " enter here " seems like good punishment for being a failure.

We’ve done the ACT, one guy had to do a full nfl combine…drills and all, one guy had to run a kids lemonade stand until he made the entry fee back ($1 sales only, one had to ride in a local parade as fantasy loser…can’t remember what this season is.

tattoo is a little extreme. We couldn’t do that one.

The above is funny, and agreed.  I would never do it.  Just asking.

I've been in one league now for over 20 years. If for some stupid reason the league rules changed to include this, I would be out.

$25k to the winner and tattoo for the loser?

I would sign up every year. You have to be completely retarded to come in last in a 12 man league even with terrible injury luck.

Better if he had to pay his own entry fee to be in the parade.

Sure. I quit FF several years ago but in 25+ years of commishing a league I won a few championships never once came in dead last.

Yeah, that's kinda weird.

Also I wouldn't do it.  Then again, my main money deep keeper league is a bunch of engineer friends; we've had very little turnover in my 25+ years in it but when we have, it tends to be other tech folks who were friends of friends and we all became friends.  Which is to say, smart enough and respectful enough of each other to not risk such a stupid consequence for a bad season.  And none of us "need" $25K.

Like everyone here I've never sniffed last place, finishing at worst middle of the pack (same is true for IBL), but... any given Sunday, you never know.

My fantasy league did something like this a few years ago. I came out of the draft SURE that my team full of studs was finally going to make the playoffs! Then Allen Robinson tore his ACL, Andrew Luck was a bust,  Emmanuel Sanders got a concussion. I finished last in the league on a tiebreaker by less than 10 points.

The guys at the sporting goods store made me grow a mustache and wear a turtleneck and jorts to work for a month!
