Favorite acoustic versions of songs

Recommended Posts

I'm a big wonk for acoustic versions of rock songs.  The discussion in another thread about Fuel Hemorrhage made me think of this which may be my favorite acoustic adaptation, but there are so many I'd love to hear what you guys like.

Usually not a big fan of acoustic versions but they put a lot of feeling into this one.

I was at once both astounded and enthralled by Stevie Wonder's Accoustic Synthesizer.

And Then I realized it was a piano.

Great choice, arguably the song that started the "unplugged" movement.

I think my favorite is Foo Fighters Times Like These, already posted.  Also worth mentioning is Nora Jones version of Black Hole Sun played live in Detroit 5 days after Chris Cornell died.

Love this.  If you like these sorts of remakes, check out "major songs in minor keys" on Spotify.  Not all acoustic per se, but slower, melancholy (minor key) versions of popular songs.
