Nothing from the peanut gallery on Conservative parents having as many gay kids as ultra libs.  My evidence was anecdotal, but at least it was that.  Just seems that lib kids are groomed to be embrace homosexuality based on my personal observation.

I don't know of any studies or demographic info that monitors the parental political leanings of kids who come out gay

Me either and it would be interesting to see.  Although I think not so much political leanings as lifestyle preferences and activism.   We do know kids are desperate to please their parents.

I think conservative parents (maybe even generationally) might be a bit more different to accepting LGBTQ than liberal. 

I almost think boomer parents/grandparents might be less likely to accept esp if they are conservative. Gen X and millennials might be more accepting regardless of political affiliation.

That's focked up but if she wants to teach that on her own and parents feel it's beneficial for their children then that's up to them.  As long as they're not trying to have kids take those courses in actual school.

Looks like you live in the "Liberal media" stratosphere.  Of the 11 gay/lesbian's I know, the ones that came out the earliest had conservative parents.  Of those 11, 4 still haven't told their parents and 3 of them have liberal parents.  The first 3 to come out with liberal parents, their conservative friends and family members knew before their parents did.

I only know 1 trans person.  "Her" parents are conservative.  None of the 12 people I mentioned ever felt they were going to get disowned.
