Being religious is great but it should never come first in our government.

I'm not religious but I recognize it as a great woke disinfectant. Bring back the fundies! I changed my mind. I'm cool with it now. More fundie teachers please.

well I haven't been to synagogue in probably 15+ years.   I also wasn't crazy about the idea of Yom Kippur.   Just don't eat for a day and pretty much all your sins from the prior year are forgiven

I don’t believe you are Jewish and the fact that you don’t understand what Yom Kippur is about proves it. You are a terrible hack.

That is pretty much exactly what Yom Kippur is about

The President can be religious.  Presidential decisions should not be based on religion though.

You can rightclick on my Morgan Freeman, save image, and then stick it in and it'll show up for you.

Then you can also go over to the "Lessons/Tips a Fellow Geek has shared with you" thread and say something about that.

Would anyone who hasn't been to church in 15 years call themselves Christian? :dunno:

Here's a column that appeared in the former newspaper, NYTimes, about the rise of the secular right that couldn't be more accurate:

Daniel is a book in the bible that contains the prophecy of the arrival of Israel's Messiah by a countdown of years from the end of the captivity in Babylon.  You referenced Jesus of Nazareth early in the post in a manner as if you have never worked out the math to see if it fits.
