Suits tv series

Recommended Posts

Anyone watched this before? Looking for a new series to start watching and it seemed interesting. Haven’t seen many new series out there that have been actually good

great series

What turned me onto it was a clip about the guy telling the guy hiring lawyers to read a page out of the book and he starts spouting it off from memory. I’ve been fooled before by great scenes in Sh1tty series so I wanted to make sure I wasn’t getting catfished again on a tv show lol

If you are going to watch a USA network series, you go to the greatest series of all time....Psych. Bad pilot episode, OK first season, and then rocket ship to Pluto. Excellent finale. And three bonus movies as an addendum. Funny, police procedural theme, cast chemistry is crazy.

Monk ain't bad either

Like Frank said, Monk was awesome. Psych I tried starting when the first season came out but the first few episodes just turned me off. I might have to give it a retry then if you say it’s that good

Suits was one of my favorite shows, as was White Collar on USA.

So you probably won’t like it

Two of my favorite episodes of the series are the first two episodes of Season 2, the American Idol spoof with Tim Curry and Gina Gershon, and then dinosaur episode. Yes, the series is silly in best way, with tons of guest stars. The dialogue is very fast, so don't be that drunk when watching. On rewatches, I constantly find things I missed the first time around. Hang in there for the first season, which is uneven, but eventually finds it's way. Similar to Scrubs or Chuck.

If you like science fiction, consider Fringe and/or Person of Interest. Both also started slow, found their footing at the end of Season One, ended strong with satisfying finales, and are rewatchable.

Edit: I think it was the Season One, Episode 5 show with the cat that finally grabbed my attention. Had me laughing for sure. I think that is where the show got going. If you hate it, let me know. No worries.

Yea loved scrubs. It’s actually the most medically correct shows out there. I’ll add Psych and also Fringe to my list. I watched the first episode of fringe when it aired and never saw it again cause I was always busy when it aired

It's a treat, as I work from home, to see Scrubs marathons on the IFC cable channel. I think they screw around and replace original music in the show to save money so that sucks. I have heard that about Scrubs and being medically correct.

Hell, one of the cable channels airs a nearly 24 hour marathon of Married With Children Saturday to Sunday every week, and I'm pleasantly surprised how much original content they allow to remain.

Fringe is a big clunky to get through the first few episodes. Very much an X-Files clone in certain ways. They have a mind bending Season One finale, and then the series is vastly different. The actors in the show, I never gave them the time of day before, but they were all excellent, and John Noble as Walter Bishop needs a closet full of Emmy awards.

I’ve been watching episodes of Married with Children a few times a week on Hulu. Haven’t seen all the episodes and I’ve forgotten quite a bit from it since I last saw it as a teenager so it’s nice to finally watch it from start to finish. Catching it on cable had episodes all mixed up

I agree with the others that said Monk is great….

Agreed.

It's decent that Monk is still a staple of reruns on multiple cable channels on a daily basis. More people can enjoy it that missed it the first time around.

In the middle of season 3 and very impressed. My only complaint is that i wish it would have been aired on HBO or Showtime. I could use a few more swear words.

I like the constant turning of sides, almost like wrasslin' with the faces and heels. I've switched between liking and hating Louis a dozen times, I like Mike to start, but now in season 4 I hate him. Harvey is always badasss.

Getting to the end of season 4. I hope Louis gets murdered. I briefly had a soft spot for Goldstein, but he needs to go.

Still odd to me that Mike is married to one of the girls from Pretty Little Liars in real life
