I agree that this person should not be competing in the women’s division, but this still isn’t “the end of women’s sports as we know it.”  According to the article, this person tried to qualify for the Olympics but their testosterone levels were too high (doesn’t say if they were even good enough to do it)

Or is this going to be a thread calling this person a pedo?

According to Wikipedia, the only “transgender” person to win a gold medal at the Olympics was “Quinn” from Canada’s soccer team.  But looks like they were born a woman and identify as non-binary.

Ah, 6 made it to finals.

I don't know sh!t about skateboarding but it's kinda cool that there is no age categories, you got a 10 year old competing with people in their late 20s.  The 10,13 and 16 year old were the highest global ranked.

You seem a little testy.  Anyway, I can't speak for everyone, but if I had a daughter competing in a sport which allowed a male to compete against her, I would do something about it.  As it is now I'm OK with discussing it on a chat board, like we do a thousand other things.  Thanks for your concern tho.

It's incredible that we've gotten to this point. If you're ok with this happening, we have no middle ground. 

I sort of get it though, most people aren't athletic, this doesn't directly impact them.

If you don't understand how this will negatively impact actual women in athletics, that's a you problem and we shouldn't wait around for you to figure it out. The good thing is, women are becoming more emboldened to speak out against this and that's what has to happen. Fear of being cancelled is very real for young female athletes though.
