It isn't a stretch to think he will take a leap here sometime. That said it was still a dumb pick by GB. Could have used a 1st round talent elsewhere to help during their current runs. They didnt sign Bortles to take that spot. They signed him in the offseason and he didn't make the team. Rodgers and Benkert both had covid the one week so they brought him back in to backup Love. First 3 picks that year 1. Love - backup QB 2. AJ Dillon- tood player and may be the furure of the backfield. But still dumb to draft a RB in round 2 that plays 2nd fittle for 3 years. 3.
