Trump is the autocrat. 87k IRS agents and politically motivated legal action get by you?

Lawyers were present, yes, but by observe do you mean follow the officers around room to room?  I don't believe this is a right, but correct me if I'm wrong.

Obviously you don't follow much, since 'collusion' isn't a crime, so there never would have been charges. Which makes me wonder why you keep lying and saying there was no collusion?

I've said multiple times here that I don't want Trump to run again; I want DeSantis at the moment pending other candidates who might pop up.  Meanwhile you think Trump is the country's #1 problem.  Not was, is.  Is it his popularity?  The mere threat that he might run again?  #1 problem...

Because he remains an incredibly divisive force in this country. If he'd just taken his L and acted like an ex-president instead of wasting all that time and money on his ridiculous election-fraud campaign, this country would be better off. Instead of the classy role that former presidents take, he's still at it with the lies, conspiracies and playing the victim. He's got all these legal walls closing in on him, yet his loyalists won't even entertain the idea that Trump isn't such a great guy.

Some people, even on this board, think he's one of our country's greatest presidents.

Great presidents aren't under multiple criminal investigations and act like the classless buffoon that he his.

I was in elementary school when Nixon was going down, and I remember my friends' parents in the neighborhood whining that it was some Democrat conspiracy to run him out of office.

No, Nixon was a snake who tried to cover up Watergate.

Trump is worse, a terrible president and a sorry excuse for a human being.

What exactly has he done recently regarding the election fraud, to make him the #1 problem in the country?

Regarding incredibly divisive, please see my initial post in this sub-thread about controlling your reactions.

#1 problem.  Still is the #1 problem.  Remarkable.

This is what I struggle with as well. With everything else going on; inflation, redefining what "recession" means, Ukraine and our involvement, Taiwan and our involvement, lack of food supply, I mean...I could go on.

But Trump is still the #1 issue?

It all depends what MSM wants to run with.  A while back it was police brutality.  They pounded that message non stop so people believed it and got upset.  They stopped talking about it and now no one seems to care at the moment.

If they want to blast Trump each waking hour now and have 1/6 made for tv hearings.....the sheep get upset and think that is a big deal now.

If there wasn't MSM news stations and opinion pieces online then what would people think is important?  Probably thr money in their pockets.  Perhaps the price of things.

MSM can change what "seems" important at the drop of a hat.  People forget quick and people get riled up quick.

It is weird how rusty doesn't think thr Liberals are divisive.    That is basically their platform.  At every turn they are separating races.  Bashing police officers.    Telling a guy he aint black if he doesn't bow and pull the correct.   ever.  Libs telling Hollywood to not shoot in states that disagree with them.  Could go on and on and on.

But that doesn't register because the little shiny object in the sky catches the attention of the childish adults in this country.  And that is TRUMP! (vein burst)

So you don't think he's been a polarizing figure in this country. You haven't heard him in recent speeches still whining about the election being stolen.

He's still the Republican Party leader.

This fantasy you guys keep living in regardless of what I think of the Hillary thing is frightening.

Hillary was investigated- they chose not to press charges. A different FBI and DOJ chose to press charges against Trump. Not sure what I am supposed to change about that.

Ah, the old "blame the liberals" fallback position. Two wrongs don't make a right, but the left doesn't have anything that comes close to Trump in regard to influence.

Lol generic response.  Could have typed that response out for you.

Point is you are so obsessed with Trump that you don't even care that the ones actually running the whole show right now are divisive as shlt.

You don't care.  Your eyes are locked onto Trump like a Pitbull on a rabbit.  You will not unlock yourself until the Libs come get you.

I know I know "whataboutism". Carry on..

Sure, he is polarizing.  He isn't part of the System, and the System doesn't like that, so they make sure he is polarizing in your eyes.

Have you seen Nightmare on Elm Street? He is Freddy Krueger, and you continue to give him life by making him such a big deal.

If you all would just shut the fock up he'd probably go away and we could get DeSantis, with the benefits of what people find appealing about Trump, without the baggage of his being an uncouth mean tweeter.

But the System doesn't want that, because DeSantis would curb stomp anyone from the Left.  It needs Trump to rile up the masses.  The masses need to be riled up, so that the System can save them.

Let's say hypothetically that Trump truly does run for the presidency in 2024. How does the GOP deal with it?

In 2016 they got in line with Trump after he ran thorough all the other candidates they seemed to want. Also, it feels like DeSantis is the guy in waiting as of this point. Plus there has to be some concern that people who turned away from Trump in 2020 are just going to turn back to him necessarily.

Does the GOP:

- Just say "Fine whatever, Trump you're the guy. Do what you want."

- Say "Okay Trump it's you but please can you pick this person (next in line) as your VP so we can get on a run here."

- Fight like hell to make it anyone but Trump knowing that Trump could very well just decide to run on his own at that point.

You might want to worry about your side. We have two viable starters.  You have none and a leaky bullpen.

This all excuses the right from this who could just as easily say "Go away dude. We don't need, nor want you." Then they could roll with DeSantis or whomever else. Why would the right want to invite Trump to the party if he riles up the masses and could cause them to lose?

Trump is part of the system. This fantasy that he isn't is a huge part of the problem. Honestly his message is not all that different from Obama's which I know is something people on the right will almost never agree with.

Trump being the #1 issue this country is facing today is by far the dumbest thing someone could think. Zero credibility after that statement.
