Week 3 will feature a matchup between two of the best QBs of all time--Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers.

These two prodigious passers should be lighting things up through the air with their impressive arsenal of WRs (with Thursday's injury status):

Mike Evans (suspended)

Chris Godwin (hamstring)

Julio Jones (knee)

Breshad Perriman

Russell Gage

Scotty Miller

Jaelon Darden

Allen Lazard (ankle)

Sammy Watkins (hamstring)

Randall Cobb (illness)

Christian Watson (hamstring)

Romeo Doubs

Amari Rodgers

Samori Toure

I'll reserve judgment until he's at least activated from the practice squad.

Lazard doesn’t even have an injury designation…

They do change from day to day.

My judgment is no longer reserved.

Cole Beasley will not go 17-235-3.

So having his name crossed out means he might play?

Even if Lazard plays, it's not like he's any better than Russell Gage.  They're probably a push.  Don't know why he matters in the discussion.

Both teams are going to have "bleh" on the outside.  The Packers passing game very well may be better (because I think they have a better system - I'm not a fan of Arians' / Leftwich's), but Tampa has a shutdown defense.  I think Tampa wins a low scoring game.  I'll say 20-13.

Having his name crossed out meant that he was on the injury report Thursday.

Yes, some players who are on Thursday's injury report do end up playing on Sunday.

Sorry, I guess I was unaware of this new meaning of words being crossed out

Always happy to assist those wallowing helplessly in ignorance and confusion.

Lazard is the #1 WR on the Packers depth chart

I think he’ll get close to that by the end of the year.😀 if there was any one game to take a flier on Randall Cobb or Scotty Miller, this might be it. If you own Aaron Jones, rejoice.

Would think a team’s #1 WR would “matter to the discussion”

Depends on who that player is.  I can't imagine anyone caring who the #1 WR on Atlanta is.  You?

Lazard is a perfectly fine WR, but he's not a game changer.  I don't think he's any better or worse than Gage.

well to be fair you also think Kyle Trask is better than Trevor Lawrence, the Jets are going to be good, and faded Jonathan Taylor because he went to College at Wisconsin, so...

They were probably a push, but did account for 2/3 of the total TD’s in the game…
