TBayXXXVII 2,116 Posted October 11, 2022 So, they said Dak would be back in 6 to 8 weeks. Watch how fast that becomes 10 or more. LOL Dallas is going to probably be 7-1 heading into their bye week and in first place. Being out 8 weeks would put them at their bye and ready to start at Green Bay in week 10. There's a 0% chance they play Dak @ Green Bay with Rush running off 7 straight wins. They're going to wait until after the road game in Minnesota, or if the Giants keep winning, after that one. No doubt Jerry Jones and Co are going to secretly hope that Rush loses 2 of those 3 games (Green Bay, Minnesota, & Giants), so that they can bring back Dak and let him get his feet week with cupcakes like Indy, Houston, and Jacksonville. In double checking that, I found this: Link. Willing to bet that Rush being 4-0 had a lot to do with that.
Ray_T 589 Posted October 11, 2022 well, the ability to let a starter heal increases if the team is playing well. no need to risk re injury if the team is playing well anyhow.

Then somehow Dallas decided they had magic doctors that could heal a broken thumb in 4 weeks or less.
