AxeElf 787 Posted November 19, 2022 He's going to continue to get 10-12 touches a game, because he's just not durable enough to get a Derrick Henry workload--but they'll be important touches, and he's on the short list of RBs likely to get 2 TDs in any given week. 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

After a couple years of trying, in 2005 my friends at work convinced me to play fantasy football. I basically focked up the entire draft. 10 team (one QB) league and I had the first pick. Took Peyton Manning because the previous year, he had thrown 49 td's ? I also drafted Brady & at least one more top-five quarterback thinking I could trade them. I'm lucky they didn't take me out behind the woodshed and kick my arse Because of that, I was lacking in other areas to say the least. So I did research and started looking at kick return specialists. You have to remember that back then, teams kicked off from the 30 instead of the 35, so a lot more were returned. One of those specialist that stood out was Josh Cribbs, an absolutely fearless returner. Unfortunately, he was no good to me because that league didn't reward return yards. Not trying to start a debate here, but I've never agreed with that. Special teams, at least back then, were a big part of the game. I learned to work the waiver wire and somehow ended up finishing 3rd. The following year (2006) I started a 10 team Yahoo league that rewarded return yards & TD's Cribbs was incredible. He returned both punts and kicks, but was also used as a RB at times Ala Cordarrelle Patterson.
