easilyscan 553 Posted November 27, 2022 Major upgrade for the Jets D. JUSTIN FIELDSQB, CHICAGO BEARS ESPN's Adam Schefter reports Justin Fields (shoulder, questionable) will be inactive for Sunday's game against the Jets. The Bears will be forced go with the infamous duo of Trevor Sieman and Nathan Peterman against the Jets' elite defense. Fields' expected absence torpedoes the Week 12 prospects for Darnell Mooney, Cole Kmet and company, though a hefty David Montgomery workload is guaranteed no matter what. Trestan Ebner will have to get involved, too. As for Fields, it is going to be tempting for the Bears to hold him out in Week 13 against the Packers since they are heading on bye in Week 14. We will get official word on Fields' status at 11:30 AM ET Sunday morning. ... AxeElf 787 Posted November 27, 2022 One would think that Fields being out would be a GOOD thing for Bears' pass-catchers--unless one also believes that Siemian will rush for 100 yards like Fields does.
Serenity Now 44 Posted November 27, 2022 If they had a good backup or a true stud at wr I would agree, but Fields running opens up the passing game. Jets have a strong d and now the bears don’t have a dynamic aspect to their offense.
jrokh 567 Posted November 27, 2022 The weather report is for a rain-soaked affair in the Big Apple. Probably won't be a lot of long passes even attempted in this game...
