Week 17 All-Out Blitz ...

Recommended Posts

As you likely remember from the last two weeks:

I would like to use my final column of the season to answer your start/sit questions for the fantasy playoffs. Please ask them below or tweet me @DougOrth.

All I ask is that you include anything that would help me sway my decision one way or the other, especially if there is an unusual scoring setup.

Half PPR.

Need a flex, and a Wr2, and a rb2.

McKinnon, Zeke, Dillon, Akers, Mclaurin, Godwin.

Thank you.

Deep PPR league (we start a total of 9 RB/WR/TE).

Last flex spot…Z. Moss, Friermuth, London or Foreman?

Alright Guru, after some shaky advice last week, it's time for some redemption, this time for the 'chip. Half-ppr assuming Pollard can't go Thursday night his replacement should be: 1)Jeudy@KC 2) Najee@ Balt 3) Godwin vs. Carolina, 4) or the hot hand James Cook @cinci. Thanks.

Got bounced in every playoff game I was in last week, so no questions for me. 😡

I'm not sure I have come across anyone who has done exceedingly well this postseason.

WR Full PPR

Assuming Christian Watson is out, who would you plug-in ?

DeAndre Hopkins: @ Atlanta. Last week was bizarro world for Hopkins. 10 targets = 1 catch for 4 yards. The bizarre part of it is that the other Cardinals receivers did ok. I wonder if he 'quit' ?

Receiving Rec Yds Avg Long TD Tgt FL
10 98 9.8 23 0 11 0
3 57 19.0 47 0 6 0
7 41 5.9 22 0 8 0
3 17 5.7 7 0 4 0
1 4 4.0 4 0 10 0

Diontae Johnson: @ Baltimore

Curtis Samuel: @ home vs the Browns

I would not be one of those guys to say that.

I also did not say I was included in that group ...

PPR I now need a starting rb.  Henry isn’t playing ouch.

Allgeier, McKinnon, Swift , R White.

I do have the Zeke to move up into my rb1 slot, I currently have McKinnon in my flex slot.  For my flex I do have G Davis at the wr slot.

Thank you.

You may not be a member of that group, but you seem to be leading that group.

Listen to the Elf,

Trophy on the shelf;

Listen to the others,

Go crying to your mothers.

Not bad. I'd give it an 8.5 out of 10.

Hi there Football guru, appreciate the help!     Full PPR League Performance Scoring - bonus for 40+

Two Questions

#1  QB:  Need One assuming Hurts is out:

Minshew, T Lawrence, Purdy, D Jones

#2. RB/WR:  Need Four - we start 2 RB's and 2 WR's but can flex a WR for 2nd RB (1 RB and 3 WR)

RB's:  D Henry (out), C Akers, J Mixon, McKinnon.

WR's: T Hill, T Higgins, G Wilson, C Watson

Waivers worth mentioning:   AJ Dillon, Fournette, K Walker, T Algier, no WR

My TE is Kittle

Gracias!

Thanks but there is no reference to my question.  It does reference two players mentioned but mine is not reference like the others.  Would you mind responding to that please or let me know if I missed something,  thank you!

I did just see the favorites and fades so that is helpful.

Just hit reply to the first post, the football Guru. Paste your question. He will probably get back to you…

I would personally roll with Allgeier and McKinnon over Gabe if that is possible.

#1: I think you have three really good options at QB. I feel the best about Lawrence. I am dealing with the same Minshew/Purdy debate in a league or two myself. I can see a scenario in which SF runs the ball about 40 times and lets Purdy relax this week. I don't think that is as likely for Minshew.

#2: I think starting three WRs is the way to go here: Hill, Higgins and Watson. I am not sure I could sit Mixon, but I think McKinnon has the most upside.

I would pick up Walker for sure just so your opponent can't play him.

1/2 pt ppr, need one for my flex.  Devonta Smith or Jeudy?

I am a Jeudy fan for sure. I recognize what he did the first time he played KC, but I cannot trust the Denver offense. I prefer Smith.

If these are your options (must be toilet bowl) I'd just forfeit...hopefully you can draft better next year.. I'd suggest getting a good qb early

They scored a combine 72 points, plus I owe Evans who I played over Watson.

And for a bonus I’ll be getting a healthy Henry back next week Vs the Jags, Henry’s last four games Vs the Jags he’s produced 99 total ff points.  And I started Goff at Qb.  I’m taking a good size league into round 2 week 2 , that’s for the championship, and I’m first in total points.   And I also own Waller , a single digit round TE, who was dropped when he missed many games, Thank you Jesus.

Next season when you wait  to draft your Qb and TE in the double  digit rounds,  and do something that’s strange to you winning a ff championship you can think me.

Welcome.

Ps you can send that 60 dollars for losing that bet of who would score the fewest points last week, you took Pollard, and then wanted to flex some muscle, and I first took Watson, then I changed it to Hopkins based on Zona starting their third string Qb. Watson and Hopkins both scored less then Pollard, and they scored less than Pollard combine.  So you need to send a check to the Ronald McDonald House here in Reno Nevada.  323 Maine St Reno NV 89502.

Thanks.

And you owe Sean 20 dollars because he picked Dobbins who scored less than Pollard. Plus you still need to apologize to Sean.

Thanks.
