SNF Discussion: Lions at Packers

Recommended Posts

I haven't seen the Packers make a one-on-one tackle in a long time.

LOL, Swift jumped way too early on that attempted hurdle of Alexander.

More missed tackles from the Packers on 1st and 10 turns a 1 yard gain into an 11 yard gain.

A packer made a tackle!  Swift was so shocked he got hurt on the play.

Of course, the defense gets the unsportsmanlike to make sure he screws the packers.

I think Jamal got in, but it doesn't matter.  The Packers have been getting blown off the ball the entire game.

I think Rodgers is done.  Those last three passes after the sideline reporter said he had his hand looked at were awful.

I guess the take away we're supposed to have is this could be Rodgers' last game at Lambeau Field.

Now Jamal Williams is crying in the post game interview.  Then he immediately aggressively admonished the viewing public for picking the Packers.

This is coaching failure. You have a hothead at LB, and you don't seem able to control him.

But by far the worst part of that game was LaFleur's inability to capitalize on aggressive D pursuit with even a single screen or quick slant. Hated the play calling throughout.

I also think Love would be no worse than what Rodgers showed this year. I think Green Bay may be a hair better next year if Rodgers is done or is somehow - incredibly - traded.

Also: our tackling on D is atrocious. Whoever is coaching them to tackle doesn't know what they're doing. NO ONE is tackling at or below the waist anymore. They're all whores for the strip.

Annoying way to end the season.

Gut says 49er's roll from here on out.

Lions acting like they won the super bowl. LOL

The Lions have never won anything, or even come close since the Barry Sanders days. Knocking a division rival like the Packers (who have had so much success over the years) out of the playoffs is like a Super Bowl win for them.

They just completed a winning season.

Yes they did, and I was defending the fact that they were celebrating, even though they aren't going to the playoffs.

They Lions are definitely a team headed in the right direction

They also have the #6 and #18 picks in the draft.

Quay Walker got himself ejected... LOL.

That was one of the dumbest things I've seen a player do in a while

Not addressing their wr slot situation before the season cost them a playoff opportunity imo.  Their big name pickup was.     Watkins really.
