Wildcard Weekend: Cowboys at Buccaneers

Recommended Posts

Dak making plays.

Another TD for Schultz.  Let's see if Maher can make a PAT!

I guess not.

The special teams coach needs to tell him to miss the whole net on the next kick on purpose.  Remove the pressure.

This is a prime 2nd half Bucs spot.  I'd feel better if they were only down 15 though.

Hope this doesn't come down to a FG for Dallas to win

I bet Maher is thinking the same thing!

Have to figure the Bucs are going to be what?  -7?  Only have to loose by 11 or less for the game?

Bucs are inept on both sides of the ball. Too much talent to look this bad. That's coaching

I'd imagine a more competitive second half.   But who knows.

Bucs don't get a TD coming out and it's a blowout.

2nd half is only bucs -3.5.

Seems too obvious so I'm not going to do it.  Seems like they're pricing in a bucs fold.  Brady does have some history sucking in these night games.  Past his bedtime probably.

Brett Maher went 50-53 on extra points during the regular season. 0-3 tonight.

This is the craziest thing I've ever seen. I assume the Cowboys have a back-up kicker, yes?  The punter maybe?

So if Cowboys have it 4th and 10 on Bucs 30 yard line, are they just going to go for it every time now? They wouldn't be crazy enough to trot that head-case back out there, would they?

Can't tell if he puts his heel down out of bounds on that Gallup TD.

I'm telling you... They have to tell him to miss on purpose on the next extra point.

Nice play by Diggs there to shield that fumble so his guy could get it.

Four! Four missed extra points, ah ah ah. *thunder*

24 - 0

Without watching the game, you could give me unlimited guesses on how they arrived at that score and I'd never consider 4 missed extra-points. I'd guess 12 safeties first.

Bucs doing what they like to do and coming alive late.

Well, maybe 9 safeties and one missed extra point on a TD, but yeah, then 12 safeties.

Looks like we're going to have to cancel the rest of the playoffs while we await news on Russell Gage's health.

I'd love to post how the total stands at 45 with 2 minutes left, and the O/U is 45.5, and those missed extra points made the difference, but the Cowboys would've just kicked the FG on 4th down from the 18 if Maher didn't miss all of those PATs and they'd have ended up at 31 anyway.

Now it all comes down to the garbage time TD for the bucs after the onsides kick recovery.

Unless

Would TB have gone for 2 if the score was 28-6 like they did at 24-6?  Or would they have kicked the extra point?

I guess to be safe, the over bettors need to vilify Maher.

Hopefully the team looked so poorly coached that they fire Bowles this week.

you can have Eric Bienemy, and we'll get a third round compensatory pick

Sadly, the Bucs will probably just make Leftwich the coach.  We'll be the Yucks again.  Ugh.

I don't see Brady retiring. He's not going out like that, especially with his huge ego. He'll be back, maybe not in Tampa but he'll be somewhere.
