Can't throw for 6000 yards when you're constantly running at the first sign of a Defensive Lineman. He'll be lucky to get 3000, much less 6000. Of course, there's a reason Running QBs are always running: to cover up for their lack of passing skills. It's the #1 trait of the running QB.
