Top 5 Underrated Comedies

Recommended Posts

What are your 5 favorite underrated comedies?

Shakes the Clown - Bobcat Goldthwait movie that parodies the world of comedians.

3 O'Clock High - Outcast spends the day trying to get out of a fight.

Role Models - Paul Rudd and Stiffler are court ordered to act as big brothers.

Galaxy Quest - A Star Trek type crew is met by real aliens who have based their way of life on their TV show is asked to help them fight an agressor.

Hot Fuzz - This might be my favorite comedy. Top cop in London is forced to take a Sargeant position in the country. A number of accidents occur that may be murders.

Like the scene in shakes where the black female clown proclaims she has that peanut butter pusay , brown, smooth, and easy to spread.

If you don't think Ace Ventura 2: When Nature Calls is the funniest movie ever made, I can't be friends with you.

Also Blades of Steel, Goon, Clerks, Real Genius.

Roseann Barr's new one has to be up there.

Just kidding. I wouldn't watch if you paid me

Tough to say what is "underrated" as I think some of these are pretty well known, but I will go with:

What About Bob?

Top Secret

Euro Trip

An American Werewolf in London (Dark Comedy, admittedly)

The Muppets (2011 version)

So many of you here would consider "Schindler's List" as a laugh-a-minute comedy.

Folks and this has to be the most underrated because it was never put on dvd or stream, Funny as heck and looks like you can watch it in parts on Youtube.

No but I wouldn’t “make out” during the movie.

Those are great choices.

I don't consider any of the jay and silent bob movies to be underated because I think they were quite popular.

Underrated is tough to gauge.

I don't think the first Jay and Silent Bob movie cracked 30 million at the box office, so I included it. Damn, that movie has so many cameos, and so many laughs. Will Ferrell was greta. It's a shame the 2nd movie was a woke sh!tfest, and Kevin Smith's daughter can' t act worth a sh!t. Which is weird. Kevin Smith made another classic in Clerks 2, featuring a running theme of "porch monkey" and sex with a donkey, yet I am apprehensive of watching Clerks 3 to see what sh!t he turned the franchise into.

I would have put Beerfest or Super Troopers 2 on the list, but both seem to be gaining traction and some views on TruTV in between Impractical Jokers marathons, so I let it be.

Will Ferrell and Adam Sandler are terrible and not funny at all.

I'll take the bait.

Adam Sandler had some really stellar work early in his career.

Billy Madison, Happy Gilmore, The Wedding Singer, The Waterboy, and a memorable cameo in Dirty Work, possibly Norm MacDonald's finest work.

Since then....meh.

Will Ferrell

Talladega Nights, Step Brothers, The Other Guys, Anchorman.....those films alone takes him out of the terrible bucket.

Oh, and let's not forget, Team America: World Police.

Made outstanding by the puppets' ability to act.  I lost it in the first scene when they focused on the facial expression of the terrorist puppet.
