Mike FF Today 593 Posted March 15 Looks like the Zeke era is coming to an end in Dallas... "The Ezekiel Elliott era appears to be over in Dallas. Per a source close to the situation, the Cowboys are set to part ways with the two-time NFL rushing champ and the running back is preparing to start fresh with a new team. The move could come as soon as Wednesday afternoon when the league’s 2023 calendar officially begins at 3 p.m. and teams are required to be under the salary cap." Ray_T 579 Posted March 15 well, the writing was on the wall when they franchised Pollard. you cant have two RB's making that kind of money.
polecatt 365 Posted March 16 This was bound to happen. He'll end up somewhere. He's a good short yardage, in between the tackles runner, plus he's an excellent pass blocker

JagFan 88 Posted March 17 Fruit Loops is on the decline for sure. He needs to find a nice comfortable 5-7 carry a game spot where he can fall into the end zone 8-10 times. Best case

weepaws 2,198 Posted March 18 J Williams of the Broncos isn’t going to do much this next season, the Broncos might be a good spot for the Zeke.

I have to think They'd be interested in him at the right price.
League Champion 1,375 Posted March 23 I can't see Philly, especially after the Penny signing. Just draft Bijan at 10.

He may want to go to Philly but Philly doesn't want him, they don't need him. And what the hell do the Jets need him for??

He still has value as a very good run blocker and short yardage specialist. He'll definitely find a job. He definitely won't be a #1 anytime soon.
Ray_T 579 Posted March 24 I guess the question is.... will Zeke be the starter in these cities? or the backup? if hes going there to be a backup, all 3 cities have merit. if hes wanting to start, I'm not sure why these cities are the front runners. It feels like Zeke wants a ring and doesnt care what role he has to play to get one. but thats just a gut feeling I have. I have no facts to support it. but arguably all 3 are contenders (jets only if Rodgers comes to play for them) so thats I guess where I'm coming from on this. Ray_T 579 Posted March 24 1 hour ago, weepaws said: I think he could have a very good season with the Bengals. well, mixon gets hurt more often than typical for a starter, so Zeke may get significant playing time on a good team if it happens again. and he has a shot at a superbowl. not bad. he may be able to make more money elsewhere but I get the feeling given the locations hes choosing ..... this isnt about the money. seafoam1 1,369 Posted March 25 Now, perhaps Breece Hall and Michael Carter were discussing the possibility of the Jets being on "Hard Knocks" or some more DoorDash from Chipotle or anything else under the sun, but the timing — roughly 30 minutes after ESPN's Adam Schefter tweeted Elliott's top three choices — is hard to ignore. First Hall, who had a great rookie season last year before tearing an ACL, tweeted, "I think we good over here @8kMike hbu?" That's the Twitter handle of Jets teammate Carter, who replied simply: "agreed." Both tweets were deleted shortly after.
LaChup 144 Posted March 25 I like how the ACL guy says, "we good over here." That's like the Alzheimer guy saying, "I remember when.......".
