Best way to doctor up a fast food item

My wife, who never eats fast food, likes to put hot sauce and/or salsa on everything.  That's always an option and I keep bottles of hot sauce in my office drawer next to the whiskey.

again the notion of doctoring up food seems to suggest making it palatable more so than you already like it but are bored of it. 
 

the OP is buying a sandwich at Arbys then going home and putting lettuce, tomato and multiple sauces on it. 
 

this suggests the sandwich itself is not all that good and kind of defeats the convenience argument as well.

My GF loves the fry sauce at Freddy's.  I myself have never tried it but she can't get enough of it.

I agree with this.  I don't think I have ever doctored up fast food.  Seems like a waste of time.  I hardly ever eat fast food.  But if I do I am on the go or just trying to get a quick bite to hold me over.  I am usually looking to engulf it and get it over with.  Not sit down put my own stuff on it and savor it.
