Do you think the scum in Detroit, Baltimore, Philly, Chicago, LA or NY purchased those weapons legally??? Because this is where the issues really lie. Gun violence is out of control but it's not on CNN until it's a white school getting shot up. You might be afraid to say it but it's a problem.

Well that’s just it. I don’t think you should be punished for what a few crazies do. Doesn’t sit right with me.

Now I am in favor of universal background checks and universal gun registration as well. I think that those will do much to reduce gun violence in general- but not mass shootings. I don’t really see any way to reduce mass shootings.

Registration could theoretically help in the few "whodunit" cases if that registration came with a balistic database of a spent roung, bullet and shell casing both, but those are extremely few and far between.

Prosecuting illegal gun use with existing laws will save many kids lives. Why don’t you start there? We can get that started tomorrow.

I didn't watch the videos but what types of guns did the cops have that entered the school?

I saw one handgun, one shotgun and one AR.

They had the ar to look cool, we've already established that.

We all gotta make some sacrifices and accept what it takes to keep each other safer.

Start with hardening soft targets like schools. If it's about keeping kids safe, let's provide some safety for them. Fences and armed security for starters.

I'm an avid gun collector. I built (2) of the ARs and all have different uppers and accessories. I'll mostly hunt with the 20". I have a 30.06 for the monsters, some .22 plinkers and a shizz ton of different caliber hand guns.

My business partner and I recently took over a 100 acre ranch here in SC. I'll go there on the weekends, shoot, hunt, fish, etc. Good times

Restrict bad people having guns! Everyone in my town has multiple guns and guess what, not one gun related death! Now go to Baltimore where the Shwoogies have STOLEN, OR ILLEGALLY OBTAINED UNREGISTERED GUNS. They are killing each other by the dozens daily.

You want the real 800Lb gorilla in the room, there it is, will you say it NO!!!! BECAUSE You're SCARED!!!!

Hey, hey, hey. I have a gun here in Baltimore and it hasn’t hurt anybody. However, it probably could have done a better job addressing the country yesterday than the idiot in office.

That's the problem, but because it's not white suburbia we don't discuss it. It's only a problem when cute little Johnny is shot and killed

No I do want answers.  Is there one?  I suggest gun control to stop people from buying guns and murdering kids.  Any better suggestions?

We could try instilling actual self esteem based on demanding real achievement instead of coddling kids so that they are all winners.  Not all kids can excell at everything or even the most popoular things, but they can all acieve if motivated and encouraged in some pursuit.  We can get them off their phones, out from under their video games and give them direction where they are assured not all values and options are equal.  We can insist they have networks outside of their piers, who by definition are immature, inexperienced idiots with bad ideas.  We can replace medication with physical exhaustion.  Eat healthy, stay away from the addictions big pharma pushes, and assure them that today is not and end, but a journey which gets better.

Abortion was a tool of the left to keep the black population in check. Why would they give a sh!t about the ones who escaped the hoover and got killed anyway? They're just retroactive abortions to them. :dunno:

Maybe, but probably not.  Worth it, perhaps if it worked.  In the likely scenario it does not we wasted time on the maybe it will work route while we are all diminished in our freedoms and in our sense of responsibility while we hope, magically, legislation can change perspectives.  It doesn't.

Interesting calibration.  For me, other than weight of the reciever the line between an AR 15 and an AR 10 is the caliber.  I would classify your 30.06 as an AR10, but I am no expert by any means.  I pretty much draw the line at .308/

Sounds nice.  I'm not familiar with South Carolina, but I have heard good things.  Some of the pictures I've seen make me think it would be well worth a visit.

This all makes sense, and is a large task to fix.  Or in a few weeks, we can make it so a crazy person can't buy a bunch of semi auto rifles and shoot up another school.  Choice is pretty easy.

It took he/her 7 years to build his/her arsenal.  Are you not up to date on the specifics yet?  If there wasn’t an AR-15 it would have been a crockpot bomb full of nails (Boston Marathon) plus a school bus on fire and five hand guns.  I’m perfectly fine with gun control conversations but stop being a GD naive idiot.

Is there any evidence the AR was even used?  Every video and in the final shot the gunwoman had the keltec in her hand.

AR15 hidden up in his ass. He has it in reserve just in case. It's a tranny thing. All in reserve. :dunno:

First it was outright porn in children’s books in public school libraries. Then Drag shows with little clothing and money exchanged for kids. Now one goes arms up and kills kids.

Dear adults with gender dysphoria, go do you, drag queen your face off with other adults. Nobody cares.  Cut your genitals off, nobody cares.  Leave the focking kids alone. Let them go through full puberty and figure it out.

As others have said, you are addressing a tool, not the cause.

Here is a graph of the number of mass shootings in the US since 1982.  Note the ramp starting in 2012.

https://www.statista.com/statistics/811487/number-of-mass-shootings-in-the-us/

2012 happens to be when GenZ was of HS age, GenZ being defined by most as those who grew up with iPhones and social media:

Between these shootings and the social contagion of the alphabet genders, we've made a hot mess of that generation.  :(

Those numbers are BS. According to that, only 4 mass shootings this year. Whoever made that chart decided to create their own special definition of a mass shooting that doesn’t include 90% of mass shootings. Again, I say: it’s the guns. Spin spin spin all you want but it’s just a fact.

And you presented no evidence that explains why America has vastly more mass shootings than any other country. Gen Z is made-up, and even if you subscribe to the generation X Y or Z crap, those generations exist in every country. And yet - America, with 400 million guns, is the one with almost every mass shooting in the world. It’s a MYSTERY why it isn’t happening in other countries with “Gen Z” people using iPhones. Wake up.

Lucky. I’m hoping to buy the 40 acres next to me eventually. Hoping I can afford it.

It is a bit unbelievable.  Seems a bit of redundancy.  Why the need for four?  I understand having them set up differently and having different calibers, but that seems redundant. I can see one or two, another AR 10, another rifle or two in different calibers also maybe lever action or bolt for simplicity and reliablility and even historic interest or value. Then maybe a 12 gauge and a 20 gauge shotgun, one each in both semiauto and pump and maybe a bullpup as well.  Then maybe a few handuns, I prefer Glock and Kimber though i also have a sig.  And if you like handgun hunting, maybe boar, and you also hike in grizzly county maybe a good old reliable Smith and Wesson in a .44 mag or one of the newer .50 caliber handguns.  I suppose also a carbine.

Do you have four so you can be variously scoped?

Like most of the gun humpers, each time he looks at his microscopic manhood he needs to compensate by purchasing another gun. He could save some money by closing his eyes when he takes a leak.
