Looks pretty fancy. I guess must be the season to get in as much Capital spending as possible. I just got my new workstation into. I swear it's going to take me a month just to figure out how it works.

With all of the cameras around everywhere, and possible network security and recording of machines, you might want to rethink something like this...

After 19 years with the company(only 10 employees), my boss wouldn't care.

Are you still using a 60hz monitor?

Co-worker just bought me three new monitors, 75hz---it's still a system for work first.

Although..the FAA just signed a lease for the office next door and we've been told security for the building is going to increase because of it, so if I'm going to play games, I better do it soon before they move in.

All that PC is a waste of money if you're capping it with a bottom tier monitor.

I have an i9 for work that cost around 4k, but your system puts the cost of mine to shame.

I'm not really a computer guy, my skills are using the programs to create 2D and 3D graphics and I never felt like I've needed more than I have.  As long as everything plays quickly, real time and the colors are accurate, it suits my needs.

If you know computers, honestly, why do you think more speed would be better?  I don't know.

A5000

GPU rendering is so much faster that CPU for 3D animation so I got the best one I could get that was also supported by Avid(video editing).  If you have one item in your computer that isn't Avid approved, you lose all tech support.  The way Cinema 4D renders, I've been told 2 gaming video cards would be faster, but they aren't on the Avid approved list, so no go.

Hope it works out for you two. Is he cute? Which one of you is transitioning?

I mean it's literally the image your computer is posting and you're limiting the quality of it. That computer at minimum should have a 250hz monitor. It makes everything smoother and really brings the high quality parts to life. It isn't even a big investment in comparison to the hardware you're using, just buy one its ridiculous not to.

Just to drive you more nuts.  I just installed a 2nd GPU.  We had a spare A4000 lying around here. Still have the crap ass monitors---which really work when I'm looking at still frames most of the day.  My render times dropped by 40 to 50% on a pretty good test frame(lots of reflections, some motion blur, light bounce).

Insane man, just spend $500 on a decent monitor lol. You would literally plug it in and instantly be satisfied with your purchase.
