How Over Weight Are You ?

I am 5'10, 200... about 10-15lbs lighter than when we met up. down from XL/38 to L/36.  i wouldn't mind getting to 190

I could be shrinking, but you  seemed a little taller than 5'11.

Good for you!  I was just measured yesterday at Mayo:  5'11 1/2" with shoes on; relatively low shoes, maybe 1/2" for the soles.  So 5'11" barefoot.

Looking back at pictures from that trip, I think I was a little heavier as well, maybe more like 175.  I have small bones so I don't carry a small amount of extra weight well.

Funny, I used to be (or at least call myself") 6' until I met @SUXBNME back in 2006(?); somehow it came up how tall we were, I said 6', and he said "dood, I'm 6' and you aren't as tall as me."  The latter was certainly true, and I've gone with 5'11" ever since.

I am 5’10 and I weigh 245. I need to lose 50 pounds.

It might take longer, but it seems slightly easier to lose weight from 245.  You can still eat 2,000+ calories a day and lose weight.

For my skinny ass, I have to run and starve myself.  If I ate 2,000 calories a day I'd never lose a pound.

I drop 45 lbs in 3 months. Try eating a healthy 2,000 a day plus exercise. Another trick I use is I don't eat for 5 hours or more after I get up. I put on 6 ibs a month ago just to make sure I still can add weight. Took that off and more already just doing what I mentioned.

I agree that skipping breakfast is a help; you get used to it in a short time and don't get that hungry.  That being said I've added breakfast back in:  keto granola cereal with berries, my best source of fiber typically during the day.  I think it's better for my overall health.

Yea skipping does help and not hard to do if you are busy. I still do breakfast a few days a week, oat meal with fresh banana's, blueberries and honey. Only it's after 5 hours I'm up. Breakfast is also good for you but if you are trying to lose weight the fasting gets you there faster.

Haven't done tread in awhile and can handle 20 mins and after that it sucks.

I use to be a fatty. 6’1” weighted 260. About four years ago got sick of it. Changed diet:  intermittent fasting then keto now carnivore. Lost it all about 2.5 years ago. Weigh 182 now. Went from a 46” waist to a 33”. Same as I weighed in HS. 53 years old and getting more tang than when I was in my 30’s.

Uhh..no.. not true.
I could swear that you were taller than me back then. I thought you were 6' 1" or summfin

Gigi thought you were tall, too...Then again she was only mebbe 5 feet tall in heels.
I do have pics from somewhere of us playing pool one of those nights...I'll have to find them.

That's weird, because I specifically remember the discussion.  I also don't remember thinking Gigi was short.

5'11 and 170. I'll be around 165 by the end of the summer after I've walked my usual 70-80 rounds at the course ⛳
