Mount Rushmore Of Late Night Talk Show Host

1. Johnny Carson - The King!, this one can't be argued

2. David Letterman

3. Jay Leno

4. Conan O'Brien

I like Ferguson and some others like Alan Thicke but going with O'Brein cause of longevity. Screw all the new bums but will say Fallen does have some talent.

No Cavett?

Not on my list but he is a good choice although I found him kinda boring and more of a journalist. Tom Snyder as well.

I think you have it right.  I wouldn't argue with someone putting Ferguson in there over #2, 3, or 4 though.  Agree with your last sentence as well.

I'm going with Ferguson mostly because he was so different from all the rest.

However, I'm also going to add graham norton. He is Far and Away the best I've ever seen. Must have a hell of a production team. Every show is like the coolest dinner party where the guests truly interact with each other and riff off each other and it's really a good time.

People are going to hate him because of his political bent, but I’d replace Jay Leno with Jon Stewart for The Jon Stewart Show and the Daily Show.

I had like a 3 year phase of turning in to late shows each night in my early 20s.  I always thought Ferguson was the best even tho it was the lowest rent spot.

Too young for Carson.

I don’t even know who Craig Ferguson is.
