Recall the media coverage of Trump. The left and their allies at the DOJ would toss some red meat to the media, who would come on the air and do the "if true, this would be devasting for the President"....."if true, our president is compramised"......."if true, this would be enough to impeach...."

But when is comes to Biden, they circle the wagons....and just regurgitate the......"no proof" over and over, meanwhile there is enough evidence on hand to investigate.....which is all that is happening....unlike the Democrats who just skipped that step....

They really have little time.  Very soon a number of states have deadlines for putting a name on the ballot.  If the Democrats do not move quickly to dismantle Biden they will be stuck with him.  And that might well be in their calculus.  They have demonstrated profound skill in using the system and its weaknesses to their advantage.

Think of this.  Maybe they stick with Biden, but use a different VP (maybe Newsome) and THEN they tell Bisen to resign. So they get their other candidate in the end....

This is of course about power, how to get it, but also how to weaponize it. And the Democrats are every bit as good as any other totalitarian group out there, and are among the best in history IMHO

I say I don’t think enough to warrant an impeachment inquiry. But if it is enough, they should have a vote on it. 

But whatever. As I wrote earlier I don’t think this will accomplish anything. I have yet to understand what an inquiry will accomplish that the previous committees did not. They keep talking about bank records but so far as I know they already have those. So the whole thing seems like a big show. 

Wake me up when they actually have an impeachment vote. If it can be proven that Joe Biden as VP took money from his son’s dealings and/or behaved in a corrupt fashion, he should be impeached and removed from office. But for now I don’t see it.

I look at this information and it appears to be every bit as worthy as the Steele Dossier.  I point this out because it is another example of the inclination of Liberals to engage in bad behaviors because it scratches an immediate itch, but with no regard for the consequences later.

When the Democrats allowed their hate to dictate their actions and pursued Trump, they laid the groundwork for the return if that behavior back to them. You go after an opponent with meager evidence, that was by-the-way....made up and not true.....then you have created a precedent....

So what we have in this instance are bank records, known time and places where the Bidens met, whistleblowers all over the place...on and on..... then all the content on the laptop.....

You can decide its not enough, of course, but will you committ right now to saying that if all this noted evidence were instead applied to the Trump family that you would also defend THEM?

So, new documents have emerged showing that Biden withheld the billion dollars to Ukraine on his own. The state department had cleared the loan guarantees after being satisfied that the prosecutor that Biden had fired had met the requirements for their anti corruption stipulations.  That’s a big deal. Trump was right and got impeached for it.

The other issue is that the media is moving the standard of proof line. They want to frame it like it's a criminal trial, which maybe one day it is, but the standard for an executive branch conduct violation is the "appearance" of unethical behavior.

Public officials are supposed to be held in higher regard and go out of their way to avoid looking how this situation currently looks.

First day of inquiry went pretty much as one might expect.

I was a little surprised that the Republicans showed so much evidence right from the jump, I felt they revealed a little too much and now the Democrats will have some idea as to how they can fabricate excuses for the criminal activity.  I felt that was not well done.

In general I was impressed that the Republicans mostly stayed "adult" even in the face of substantial childishness; there were a few folks who seemed to stray after being taunted by Democrats.

What I did not perhaps anticipate, but should have, was the avoidance of Democrats to face down evidence and situational instances.  They pointedly avoided trying to explain away the obvious circumstantial connections.

But the part that really stood out about that avoidance was the "what about isms".  Trotting out pictures of Trumps kids......as if to say, "hey look they did it too!!!".....I felt that was sorta weak.  Primarily because one could look at it as excusing the behaviors....

In these cases, RICO and organized criminal activity, the goal is to get the main guy.....through the bag men.  Hunter is the bag man, he made all the mistakes and is the way we get Biden.  The main question for now is what can the inquiry reveal.  Because up to now the DOJ has steadfastly protected Biden and impeded Congressional investigation, which we hope the inquiry will overcome.

Right now it is clear that the Democrats DO NOT CARE .....that Biden very well may have sold us out to secure money from foreign actors.....they dont care....they will dig in and protect him no matter what......its focking sick.   So, that means our path forward really needs that smoking gun.....we have to hope that Hunter made enough mistakes that there is that one.....

But the criminal enterprise Joe built is clearly a pretty good one.   They are producing some communications that are pretty good, but they have to tie them to actual actions. 

Another big problem is that this might pull in Obama, and I am confident the Democrats would rather see this nation burn than allow him to be held accountable.
