I liked Pink Floyd some as a teenager, but not anymore... too slow, too "everything has deep meaning" crap. To each their own. 

Also think Roger Waters seems like a bit of a jackass.

i think i get it.  the people who grew up with that song are now in old folks homes.  so he toned it way down and whispered the lyrics to suit being played in such venues.
