Pimpadeaux 2,406 Posted September 4, 2023 Used to be held every Labor Day weekend. When I was a kid, we spent many Labor Day weekends at a ranch house at some friends of my parents. These people were crazy rich, and their house sat on a manmade lake. I remember taking a Sunfish sailboat out on the water and horseback riding. But mostly I was bored as the adults drank. And Jerry Lewis getting more haggard over the course of the weekend. The telethon was on the main televisions the whole time. I guess it has gone teets up.
