PPR waiver wire - Ekeler

I figure it's wise to pick up Kelley since I have Ekeler.

My first instinct was to release Achane or Toney. Having said that, I'm also considering releasing Cooks for Kelley.

K. Allen, D. Moore, Hopkins, Ekeler, A. Jones, Henry are starters.  Kirk, Montgomery, G. Davis, Achane, Toney and Cooks all on the bench.

is that Cooks from the Cowboys?

if it is, I noted he was open on a fair number of the routes he was running.   probably would have put up solid numbers if Prescott actually had a need to throw the football.

(as the Defense stole the show all he literally needed to do was hand the ball off and not fumble it)

based on what I saw, I wouldnt be inclined to drop him.    Not yet anyhow.

that said, I'm busy at work today, so I dont really have the time to dig into your roster to figure out who your best drop would be.    all I'm saying is to think twice about dropping Cooks.

He's indicating that's who he would drop between Cooks, Toney and Achane in order to pick up Kelley since I own Ekeler.

I wouldnt drop Cooks, but Toney is a guy I"ve started to sour on.   seeing that many drops in one game has made me rethink whether this guy is a good fantasy investment.   Normally I'd suggest waiting until after week 2 before dropping Toney but I think Nacua is the real deal and if you wanna get him you need to move now.

Toney is the guy to drop.   Cooks has more value than he does right now.   He didnt put up numbers in week 1 but thats because the Dallas game was over by the time you were halfway into the second quarter of that game.   so there was no need to throw the football.    but from what I saw Cooks was getting open on most of his routes and for me this bodes well for the rest of the season.   I think dropping him would be a mistake.

Thanks. Nacua wasn't available. Someone dropped Goff for him. I'm okay with that.  Got Kelley to handcuff Ekeler for the moment.  Now I can choose between Goff, Love and Carr for a qb this week
